The Lowepro S&F Quick Flex Pouch 75 AW (Black) is designed to carry a large electronic flash such as: Canon 580EX II or Nikon SB900. It can also be used to carry small accessories such as; wireless remote; batteries, etc. It has a spring-loaded flap design that keeps the accessory case partially open when I use and then securely closed. The sloped shape ergonomic shape speeds access to pouch allowing accessories to be easily grabbed. Te SlipLock attachment tab allows the pouch to be worn on a compatible S&F belt or other SlipLock product.
The Quick Flex Pouch 75 AW pouch has an interior pocket for batteries, gels, etc. There is a built-in All Weather AW Cover to protect the pouch and contents against inclement weather and the elements. It is carried by a removable, adjustable shoulder strap.

Bought this pouch to carry my Speed-light 580EXII and love it. This pouch makes me feel confident about carrying my flash. The pouch is a tight fit but allows me quick access to the flash when I need to retrieve it from my carrying belt. It offers my flash the protection It needs when walking in crowds and bumping into others.

I would give this more stars if it did what it was supposed to do, namely a case that allows Quick access to your larger flashguns when in the field. This is their biggest model designed for the larger flashguns like Canon's 580EXII well as room for a spare set of batteries (typically that means 4 x AAs). Well, just putting these items into the case is neither quick nor straightforward. You need to add the batteries after the flash not the other way around. The tight fit for the flash means it can be difficult to grab when you want to pull it out. So what is Quick about this design? With smaller flashguns I'm sure this is not a problem but LowePro has a smaller version specifically for those models (and it suffers from all the same problems).
I do like the low profile design, there is less sticking out to get caught and you can wear this under a coat if necessary (in winter for example). The flex lid means you don't have to fasten the top every time which saves time but be careful that it does not spring back and the metal press stud hit the top of the flash. The shape makes these cases difficult to carry much else so I would consider more conventional style if you want to carry other camera accessories.
Lastly, why do they persist in using large metal buckles for the carrying strap? They are not the only company to do this, e.g. Think Tank, but metal is unnecessary and bad for camera gear. Get it near anything plastic or metal (such as cameras or lenses) and you are asking for trouble. Plastic buckles are more than sufficient for carrying a flashgun.

Purchased to attach to the outside of my Lowepro Nature Trekker AWII. It will easily hold my external flash and diffuser, or any other similar sized gear. It frees up space inside the bag for other gear.

This is a great pouch!! Perfect for my Sony F56AM, definitely a step up in protection from the stock sony case. Fits on my Lowepro AW 75 bag but is just as good as a standalone case if you want to travel light. Anyway you go its a must have to protect your delicate flashes with the thick padding and rain cover

Comments about Lowepro S&F Quick Flex Pouch 75 AW:
I'm a pro event photog, and had to find a belt/harness system because of back issues. I'd had a couple individual Lowepro pouches already, so I decided to invest in the whole system. This Quick Flex pouch is designed for my Canon 580 EXII flash (and Nikon equivalent). It does provide great protection for the flash. I do have an issue with the exaggerated width of the top portion of the pouch, which makes the belt a little crowded. The upside to the added width is the flip-open top, which makes accessing the flash quick, as long as the zipper is already open.

The Quick Flex 75 AW by Lower Pro is an excellent addition to my group of camera accessories. Perfect fit for my SB-600 and extra batteries and goes well with my Lowepro Inverse 200 AW Black Beltpack Camera Case, giving me extra room for additional stuff in my beltpack.

I've use that to store my Canon 580EXII while I'm take pictures without flash.
I really have liked it, so much. I've bought the jacket with the Lowerpro belt. Both itens works so good. I have no complains about that, but the only reason to give 4 stars on rating is because the belt has opened 2 times during the use.

I try but it is a big big for the Nikon SB800. But I plan to buy Nikon SB900 and the it will be perfect. Also I have Olympus FL50 which fits perfect in the case.

Comments about Lowepro S&F Quick Flex Pouch 75 AW:
Originally purchased the 55 AW but was too small to fit my Sony HVL 58AM flashes. Although this case is still a bit tight it protects the unit much better than the OEM case. Also fits my Lowepro S@F belt and vest well. Has extra compartment for holding those mounting feet that so easily get lost.

Comments about Lowepro S&F Quick Flex Pouch 75 AW:
If you wanted to know whether the Quick Flex Pouch 75 AW will fit your Nikon SB800 plus your Better Beamer Flash-X-Tender, the answer is no.
These days I use my Better Beamer a lot, making photos of birds through telephoto. From the pictures I looked at before ordering, it appear that the Better Beamer would fit, it is quite flat after all. And length-wise it does fit. But as soon as you try to add the flash, it becomes a very tight fit. Forget about adding the Better Beamer Lens (damage risk!), off-camera flash cable, spare batteries, or other accessories.
The product is being advertised for specific models of flash. I reckon they should have allowed more space for accessories. I'm disappointed.

Only 1 single complaint about this case, Thats why i gave it 4stars. it definitley is a little bulky and it does not have to be. i put my Canon 580ex II flash in here, and there is atleast 1 extra inch of space from the top of the gun to the zipper, if the case was a little shorter, it would still hold the flash, and be more compact to carry around. other wise fantastic in everway!! Plenty of protection from possible drops or bumps, holds extra batterys, gels, connects to my belt, or top loader bag with ease & securley. Love It!....plus a AW cover it I get stuck in a shower, love that piece of mind

Quality construction (some may argue too bulky). I actually use this to store speedlights but also as a slender yet bomb proof sleve for my 70-300 zoom.
