The black Sun-Sniper Compact Strap from Sun-Sniper is to carry a compact camera or small D-SLR camera. It has a shock absorber that is integrated in the strap and makes carrying the camera even more comfortable. There is a Cutter Crusher anti-theft steel cable uses steel wire in the strap to prevent strap cutting. It uses a friction eliminating, genuine stainless steel bearing that provides for better spinning with less unwanted swaying. The fully adjustable strap allows the camera to glide easily along the strap. The camera hangs at the side over the back and can be hoisted quickly, safely and ready to shoot. When not in use the camera will hang comfortably at the side or behind you depending on how you position the strap.

I'm currently using this with a Leica M9. I was looking for a strap to use with a my lighter body/lens combos and having purchased the Sniper Pro Strap decided to try the Compact as well. It does the job perfectly, my only criticism is the wire incorporated into the strap causes the free end (excess for adjustment) to take on it's own shape, despite trying to straighten. Also the loop on the strap which is supposed to secure the free end is too loose - minor point. As with the Pro, remove the metal studs from your jeans if you want to avoid scratching your camera/lens.
With the M9 I was cautious about using the removable bottom plate to suspend the camera from so used an extra leash to loop from the Compact to the eyelet on the M9.

I like to carry my cameras bandolier style (across the chest), so I was looking forward to using this to carry my Fuji X100. The strap is well-made and the swivel works very well, but the shoulder padding and "suspension" are ridiculous for a strap designed to carry a compact camera. Unfortunately, these features cannot be removed, so I returned the strap. I'd be prepared to buy this again if the shoulder pad and suspension could be removed.

Comments about Sun Sniper Sun-Sniper Compact Strap:
I got the Compact Strap to use with my Olympus OM-D EM-5. It is easy to adjust and is so much better than anything else I have used. I have also connected it to my Canon 5D MK2 and 70-200 F2.8 lens and it has been quite useful and comfortable. I was concerned that the Canon would be too heavy for the Compact but it is not. The Sun-Sniper Compact is a great product.

Comments about Sun Sniper Sun-Sniper Compact Strap:
These are excellent strap substitutions for any camera. There are different models for different size cameras. They are comfortable to wear and they keep your camera at your side avoiding soreness in your neck, you can keep your camera securely and comfortably while doing other things and your camera is always readily available. Great product.

Comments about Sun Sniper Sun-Sniper Compact Strap:
This strap is great. The cross-chest system makes carrying the camera almost unnoticeable. It is also at least as quick to deploy as a neck strap. Moreover, the steel wire gives me peace of mind when travelling.

Comments about Sun Sniper Sun-Sniper Compact Strap:
I use the strap so that I have my point an shoot camera with me at all times. For instance, when I am covering the troubles in Ciudad Juarez I take only my Canon G-11 and the strap keeps it handy as I can just pull it out of a pocket and start shooting. I find the larger part of the strap that rides on the shoulder a little much.

The simplicity of the product is the thing that impressed me. Who would have thought to hang your camera upside down by the tripod connector.
Pretty expensive, but it is well built and does the job. I guess you have to pay for great thinking.

Purchased this camera strap with some hesitation because of the cost. I wish I would have purchased it a long time ago, worth every penny! Never liked neck straps and was looking for something else that would work. This is by far the best money I spent lately. Works great and doesn't feel like you are carrying a camera.

Comments about Sun Sniper Sun-Sniper Compact Strap:
While at a musical festival with an extra long lens on my Olympus E410 the eyelet that holds the neck strap pulled out of the camera. This is when you realize how nice it is to have a strap. Finding a strap that screwed into the tripod socket was the only really way to solve the problem, other than send camera back to factory. The new strap is more comfortable, easy to use, and secure. I would recommend it.
