I am a student, selling and exhibiting work - when i buy something I want it to last. I Received this camera bag as a gift and I am very satisfied. Took it to London just a few days ago and it stood up to the cold damp climate, the underground and extended amounts of use. This trip to the UK was a personal test of sorts and this bag passed with flying colors. It kept my D300, two large lenses, my iPod and various other items dry and protected for the entirety of the trip. The strap was strong and stayed secure around my shoulder. The metal buckle clips were sturdy and I was not afraid of them coming undone in a large crowd of people. I took this pack through the airport and used it as a carry on in which i stored my camera equipment, MP3, a 500+ page book, cell phone, my passport and boarding pass and I was confident in keeping all these important items together in this bag. Great little bag and very sharp looking - fit my D300 (larger camera then this bag is advertised to hold) comfortably. I like the Velcro customizable interior dividers, the metal buckles, the four exterior pockets and the metal 'Nikon' badge on the outside. Good bag for toting the bare minimum when you go out shooting: camera with lens, extra lens, film, CF or SD cars, paperwork - Not for your arsenal of equipment..this is for planning a shoot and taking what you need.

I got this free as part of the D3100 kit. Its okay for a free bag, but if I were purchasing a bag, I would spend more and get something more durable and easier to carry. The inside is small, the shape is awkward for travel and the padding inside is kind of wimpy. I would be concerned that the camera would break if the bag ever dropped or even just went down too hard. Bottom line: fine for lightweight commuting with equip or storing extra equip at home, but for travel or anything more heavy duty, invest in a bigger and more durable bag.

I needed a bag, and being the OCD kind of person I am, wanted a bag with a brand to match my camera. I like that kind of thing. The bag was shipped quickly, and it's a lightweight but rather large bag. Fits my body, lenses, and a ton of others gadgets that I needed to pack in my bag.

I needed a new gadget bag for my new Nikon DSLR. This bag is perfect for what I need, is well-constructed, roomy, and has heavy duty fasteners. A nice bonus was the 2-DVD set included even though I've not had time to watch them. I think this bag is well worth the money, and the price at B&H was less than I could find locally.

I am very happy with the quality and durability of the bag. I am just a novice photographer so maybe there are better bags out there, but this is exactly what I thought I would receive. I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

Bag quality is satisfactory. Interior layout is adjustable for different options and accessories. DVD bundled with this 'Value Pack' actually arrived in the camera box so I am not sure where the 'value' lies.

Love the camera so far. It's everything I expected. I've had Nikons exclusively for about 25yrs now, back to the old F3 film camera, and more recently (before this purchase) a D90 DSLR. I purchased this on because I wanted the pivoting Live Screen Monitor, as it enables me to take photos at ground level.
And of course, you cannot beat B & H for service.
They're quick, efficient, and professional. I've done business with them before, and will continue to do so.

I got this as a freebie with a new D5100. It's well made, spacious enough, and comfortable to carry. However, it doesn't have as much padding or as many dividers as I would like. Also, the lid doesn't always cover the ends and rain can fall into the bag. I'm going to replace it with a better sling bag soon, but will definitely keep this one for a backup or to store excess gear that I don't need for every shoot.
