International Orders*The GearGuard Lens Lock for Nikon affixes to the rear of the lens (lens mount) and when the two tabs are aligned the lens cap is securely attached to the lens. An optional cable and lock (GGCLK) can then be run through the lens cap for securing the lens to an immobile object to prevent snatch-and-grab thefts. A single cable and lock can also be used to secure the lens together with other camera equipment having similar GearGuard locking devices.

Comments about Gary Fong GearGuard Lens Lock for Nikon:
I always lose the lens caps, and purchasing the replacement caps is common for me. After hearing my friend losing an expensive lens at an event, I decided to google "locking lens caps" and found this. It works! You can lock your expensive lens now, and I just knew if I didn't buy one, my lens would be gone at some point due to theft. It's a cheap investment to save your lens.

Comments about Gary Fong GearGuard Lens Lock for Nikon:
I purchased this lens cap because I am always misplacing the rear caps that come with the lens. I use lens pouches for all my lenses and now I can attach the rear cap to the lens pouch so the cap never has to be separated from the pouch.
Problem is I can hardly fit the lens into the lens pouch because the extenuation clamp lock makes it very difficult to zip the lens pouch closed. Also you think that you are breaking something when you first attache the cap to your lens the first time. But after you figure out that this is the noise it makes when It's locked on.
