Need some solid support? The Benro C-2691 Travel Angel Carbon Fiber Tripod with B1 Ballhead is a professional-quality tripod with lightweight, high-quality carbon fiber legs for top performance.
This Travel Angel tripod is easy to carry, so you'll have it with you at all times. Travel Angel's unique 180° foldover design allows it to be collapsed into a very compact size that can easily fit into backpacks or luggage. When you need quick set-up, excellent maximum height and a rigid, stable support, the Travel Angel is an impressive performer.
This tripod also features individual leg angle adjustments, anti-rotation leg design, a reversible center column with spring loaded weight hook, anti-dust and moisture rubber leg lock grips.
The included B1 Ballhead is a lightweight (0.8 lb/0.4 kg), single-action head with a quick release clamp compatible with Arca Swiss QR system, single knob adjustment, and an integral level.

Ball head is well engineered and attaches to camera very well. Overall size and weight is perfect for traveling. The tripod ball head combo fits in my normal size carry on luggage without needing to be separated. Lengthening of legs is smooth and sturdy. Although I have not had a chance to use the monopod feature I am sure is will not disappoint and will make my video and sports shooting much better.

I had this older version tripod before but during a photoshoot I lost it. So I have to get this replacement. What I love about it is its strong built, sturdy, light weight. The B1 head panning is smooth, it didn't have bubble level before but now they put it in with the head so it's nice! One of the three legs can take out and use as a monopod (the old version TRCB-269 can't do that) and it has padding so it's not cold when holding it.
I like the older bag more than the new one now. And it's a little hard to put in and take out of the bag.

This is a product that I will recommend to people who seek quality with a reasonable price. There are much chepaer products however when I open the package I feel the difference. It is very lightweight. Great for travelling. Durable. Quality is very good. I feel my camera is safe on this tripod.
My only negative opinion: during macro photography small adjustments are difficult to make as you screw the position of the camera changes slightly which makes big difference in macro photography. However, as I get used to it it can be handled.

This is a great tripod tha will save you easily about $300 bucks compared to a similar Gitzo. Made sturdily, light weight and comes with the a ball head with a quick release. Sweet deal. Easy to use, and no problems. Doesn't feel cheap at all. Proud of myself for not buying the more expensive one just because it has the name behind it. Sometimes bargain deals really are so. The head is okay. You might opt for a better ball head with the tripod. But, this is a great deal.

Benro has come a long long way since its humble beginnings. In the past I bought Benro because I couldn't afford Gitzo and the quality really did show: the twist locks were stiff and the large ballhead slipped under a slight load (100-400L at 400mm with 1D3). It wasnt obvious, but Benro was definitely subpar.
Now however, I buy Benro because there really is no point paying so much if you can get the same quality at half the price. The twist locks are smooth and lock tight and there is almost no flex at all in the legs (of course if you put a heavy camera lens combination the last segments flex ever so slightly but it's literally not noticeable).
The refinement in Benro technology has brought them up close to the level of Gitzo. It is not a cheap buy, but its more than worth every penny!

The quality of a Gitzo tripod at half the cost.
I've found this to be the perfect tripod to travel with. It's ultra-light weight, holds plenty of gear/lenses and is super sturdy.
In fact, I've actually started using this when I'm shooting locally since it's just so easy to take with me and there's nothing I'm giving up when using it.
I couldn't recommend highly enough.

This tripod is very sturdy but really light weight. I like the fact that it has a lot of height, over my head with a 7d attached. compact when folded up, comes with spike feet in the bag, which is a plus and can turn one leg into a monopod, although I haven't tried that yet. Great tripod for travel or all around use. It is the only tripod i need.

I used it on my recent trip to Luray Caverns and the Washington DC monuments. The B-1 head supported my D80 + 18-200 lens with no problems. There was no "give" at all once the head is locked in. The twist lock system took a little more time to set up than my old flip lock tripod but it was not a big problem. It is light and small when folded and I love the ability to put it in my carry-on luggage. The included tripod bag is nicely built. The tripod feels very substantial. I have not yet tried the monopod feature.
