International Orders*For dynamic color and B&W professional printing you must consider the Epson Stylus Pro 9890 Wide Format Inkjet Printer. This magnificent machine is capable of handling virtually any media type; rolls or cut sheets up to 44"/1118mm wide. It utilizes a compilation of the most recent printer technologies to deliver superior quality photos, panoramas, transparencies, graphics, signage and fine art.
At the heart of the Stylus Pro 9890 is Epson's high performance, one-inch wide eight-channel MicroPiezo TFP print head with 360 nozzles per channel. It works in conjunction with the UltraChrome K3 with Vivid Magenta ink system comprised of eight high-density pigment colors including newly formulated green and orange. These high-performance inks provide the 9890 with the ability to deliver stunning prints that are sure to delight and impress. The combination of an extremely wide color gamut, exceptional shadow detail, superb contrast, depth and smooth tonal gradations can only provide the very highest quality imagery.
A standout innovation in Epson's large format printing arsenal is an automatic black ink switching system. This system is a huge improvement over the manual switching system in earlier models that was inconvenient and difficult to use. You can now seamlessly switch between Photo Black and Matte Black inks; the result is optimum black ink density regardless of media type used, with minimal ink usage. Factoring in an outstanding resolution of 2880 x 1440 dpi, the Stylus Pro 9890 is more than capable of delivering all that you would expect from a printer of this magnitude.

Comments about Epson Stylus Pro 9890 Wide Format Inkjet Printer:
I've had extensive experience with plotters and this is simply the most irritating yet. Everything has to be controlled through the touch panel. If you cancel the printing it carries on as if it is doing it without printing, so you can wait 30-40 minutes before you can resend it to print, God help you if you input the wrong thing you could be there 6 hours trying to print something.

I've had this printer for just over two weeks. My current project requires 35" x 35" photographic/art prints and - so far - I couldn't be happier with the results!

Comments about Epson Stylus Pro 9890 Wide Format Inkjet Printer:
EPSON 9890I've printed with every large-format printer on the market in the last 10 years, and this is by far the most Accurate, Fastest, Most Quiet, and Versatile Printer in this category. It beats the competition in every way. The 9890 is the best thing to happen to the Pro Printer world in a long time.INKSFirst of all Matte Black and Photo Black are loaded simultaneously. Simply switch out your media, and push a button. That's it. You no longer need to compromise black quality and waste time and money purging ink, or having to purchase a second printer (like I did long ago) to print with multiple media! Thank God.OVERALL LOOK/FUNCTIONShe is a beauty. The re-designed face and ink bays are much more attractive than the older 9800/9880 days of large ink cartridges sticking out of the front end. Everything in the new design is tucked away with clean lines. When I unpacked the 9890 it was like being handed the keys to a brand sports car… fast and elegant. The 9890 is a little wider to accommodate larger and more accurate print heads and ink bays. Worth the Girth.Great design.HUDThe updated Color HUD is very helpful.. at first glance you can see the corresponding Color to each Ink Level and maintenance tanks - no more counting ink bays for which ink to replace.MEDIANew locking Roll Media ends are fantastic.. no more rolls slipping for skewed prints. Even borders all the time. The printer ejects the media by the push of a button = much less hands on media, means much less room for error or media damage.[...] Also, the movers were fantastic to work with. I tipped them well to move such a large and heavy (250LB) item. Setup is not included, which is fine. It's more important for you to get acquainted with your new machine. However, Setup the Base of the printer First and 4 people should lift this very heavy printer onto it's base. You're home free from there.Happy Printing!

Comments about Epson Stylus Pro 9890 Wide Format Inkjet Printer:
Prints beautifully! Large photos, posters, banners.
Even lower resolution images print lovely!
Unlike the 9880, the software is up-to-date and still supported by Epson.
Easy install, easy configuration.
Printer functions are designed more logically than the 9880, hence easier to use. The 9890 printer is much more quiet than the 9880. The footprint is larger than the 9880 and my previous HP 2500cp.
