I use these for daily backups of a small business system and for portable apps. I had an old usb 2.0 DataTraveler which I used heavily for about 5 years, when suddenly the data on it outputted garbage with foreign characters in the file names. I reformatted it and sent it back to Kingston and they replaced it immediately! They sent me this G3 version instead, and it is WAY faster. Love it! Only complaint is that the keychain ring is tiny and flimsy, so don't expect to carry it that way. BTW, the Kingston rep informed me they've seen lots of counterfeit DataTravelers which don't work, so be careful to purchase from one of their reliable vendors; one of those the rep mentioned as reliable was B&H, and B&H generally has the best prices on them, too.

This USB stick is amazing! There's not much to tell about it other then 16GB of space and it works with everything. Mac, PC, PS3, and much more!
I use it to transfer photos when printing and there are many other uses for it. It's fast, has lots of space and its reliable. You can even slip it onto a keychain!

This is the first time I've purchased a 16GB drive, and in my ignorance, I thought it would hold somewhere near 16GB of data. Between the hidden PC files that are meaningless to a Mac user like me and manufacturer's fudging, it turns out the drive only holds a bit over 14GB. If it's a 14 or 15GB drive, it should be called that, not 16GB. Minus one star.
Otherwise it does what a flash drive is supposed to do. Saving and reading speeds are completely acceptable, and I've had no trouble with the USB tip. The loose cap has gerat potential for going misssing, but I've kept up with it so far.

I loved that the old Kingston flash drives had a LED light that flashed when data was being transferred. Unfortunately, this newer model does not have that feature. And thats the only reason I bought a Kingston instead of another brand. Besides that, it works great.
