Comments about Canon PSC-600 Deluxe Soft Case:
This case will not fit a Canon A1200 properly. The A1200 has a bulge on one end for the AA batteries, which prevents the magnetic case flap from fully latching. Canon says it fits, but they're wrong. The case is also open at the bottom and top, and not manufactured very well ([*]). I ended up returning it and buying a Lowepro Ridge 30 case that works much better.[...]

Comments about Canon PSC-600 Deluxe Soft Case:
I use this case to hold my Canon A3300 camera.
Overall it has a solid build and, for the most part, protects my camera while acting as a belt pouch.
What's great is the ease in which I can open and close the flap (I love the magnetic buttons on the Canon cases) The camera fits perfectly inside the case for easy placement and removal.
Okay, so here's why this case looses a star.
First, check out the picture carefully. The top flap is slick black leather BUT the body of the case is a protective tightly woven mesh. My utility knife sits in a sheath made from the very same material so it's very durable and will take a good beating. So that's great! However, with that durability comes signs of wear and tear that will make the mesh material less attractive over time. As opposed to more leather. But that's me being extremely picky.
My only other gripe is that the top sides of the pouch leave the camera somewhat exposed (about a 1/2 inch on both sides) So if you're hoping that your camera is being fully protected in a dusty area, think again. I assume it was made this way to make it easier to pull out your camera / device but (in this case) convenience hinders a considerable amount of protection from the elements.
So bottom line, if you want something to protect your camera in normal everyday life it's fine, buy it. It'll do the job. If you're an adventurer, globe trekker, daredevil always ready to brave the elements... buy something else.
That's all I have to say 'bout that.
