I love my LX-5. This converter brings the view out to 18 mm and it's perfect. It costs more than third party converters but it's well made and produces great images.

Comments about Panasonic 0.75x Wide-Angle Lens for Lumix DMC-LX5 (Black):
Very well made..easy to attach..(you will need the DMW-La6 adapter). I am using this on the Leica DLUX5. Almost no chromatic aberrations and focus is good at the extremes. Barrel distortion can be easily removed with PTLens. Auto focus works fine with this lens.

Lens is sharp as a tack and great for close-in people shots. I've also got fantastic landscape pix. Your service and pricing is great - all the way to Australia.

Great wide angle lens which will work just fine on most 52mm lenses! Excelent addition to the Leica dlux5.

Comments about Panasonic 0.75x Wide-Angle Lens for Lumix DMC-LX5 (Black):
Easy to use and very well built (aluminum construction, all made in Japan..), takes great photos.
Comes with a "case" that will fit the lens+the LA6 adapter.
Note that the flash won´t work when the lens is attached. If the flash is forced-on, it will cast a shadow on part of the scene.
Still, a must have for the LX-5!

I have used a number of high quality lenses over the past 25 years, and this is right up there with the best of them. Used correctly you can take in vast landscapes with high quality images. I believe this lens transforms the LX-5 camera into around an 18mm lens (in the 35mm format) Try purchasing an lens for an SLR that has a F2.0 like this and see what sort of money you will need to part with.
This Panasonic lens is a far better option

Comments about Panasonic 0.75x Wide-Angle Lens for Lumix DMC-LX5 (Black):
I bought this lens to be able to take panoramic shots of natural sceneries, just as I did with my analog equipment for many years. It does the job beautifully and it turned out great pictures. It is equally useful to take indoor shots when you want to give a good idea of room layouts and decoration. It is a must for pictures of historic interiors, as long as it is used properly.
It would have been even greater if it had some kind of bayonet mount that would speed up installation and if once put on, the camera detected its presence and went in "wide angle adapter mode" automatically, instead of having to find some deeply buried software adjustment.
But hey, for the price, the LX5 and this lens make a great combination. When you see the pictures, you forget about the little drawbacks.

I bought this for my Leica D-lux 5. Works great, as promised. Just remember to buy the required lens adaptor DMW-LA6, same as for the Lumix lx5. Great piece to bring on travels, for capturing wide vistas, entire buildings and large interiors. Well made - feels solid. Fun to use. Looks great attached to the camera too.

Comments about Panasonic 0.75x Wide-Angle Lens for Lumix DMC-LX5 (Black):
This lens makes for really wide angle shots. Image quality is excellent, not much distortion. Opteka 0.45x wide angle is also a good option, but this one is better in image quality (also, much more expensive...).
