The Kirk PZ-139 Camera Plate for Canon 60D is a quick-release plate that's designed specifically for the Canon EOS 60D. Its dovetail fits Arca-Swiss-style clamps to enable a quick release from a tripod head.
The plate is machined in the U.S. from 6061T6 aluminum, and it includes a stainless steel Allen screw for attaching it to the camera. Two additional screws serve as safety stops; in case the clamp is inadvertently left loose, the smaller screws will help stop the camera & plate from sliding all the way off the head.
The PZ-139 plate preserves access to the 60D's battery compartment, and it features a sensor-centering line on the side. Two Allen keys are included with the camera plate.

Comments about Kirk PZ-139 Camera Plate for Canon 60D:
Matches the 60d perfectly, fits securely. Solid, hefty even, though a touch bulky. Still, doesn't interfere with camera operation. It is possible to scratch the paint/finish if you're rubbing it against metal; I do wish it could be triple anodized or something so the finish would be extra durable. Still, it's a great plate and I'm happy with it.

Comments about Kirk PZ-139 Camera Plate for Canon 60D:
Adds a touch more bulk than I'd like to the bottom of the 60d, but it's beautifully made and blends nicely into the bottom of the camera. I do wish the black finish was triple anodized or something; it does seem that it scratches when rubbed against metal, revealing the metal underneath. It seems like a harder finish is possible, though at what cost I'm not sure. Regardless, it's really nicely designed and in spite of that I'm quite happy with it.
