The Intova Flash Diffuser for IC12 Camera is a flash diffuser for the IC12 digital camera, which comes with underwater housing. This flash diffuser fits around the lens housing and serves to reduce backscatter – the distracting illumination of multitudinous tiny foreground objects such as plankton – and to prevent the shadow of the lens barrel from being projected into the image.

I used this surpressor on some dives in Islamorada, Florida and it worked perfect. I was switching between the surpressor and a Red filter and had no issues. the surpressor fits snuggly to the front of the camera and even on an exit through the surf (shore dive) it wasn't knocked off. It worked great to eliminate shadows that were reported from the Intova IC12 housing as well as performing it's other duties to eliminate the back splatter that onboard flashes can and will produce. Great purchase and after using this surpressor on 6 dives, I am totally convinced that it was a perfect design.
