I did not expect to receive a beautiful enclosure such as this. It's simple and easy to use. The most surprising fact is that it comes with a USB 3.0 cable bundle which at the purchasing price worth more than I could expect.

I bought this to enclose a new SSD for cloning my hard drive. After the upgrade I use it for external storage. The enclosure worked fine, but the plastic case was even less quality than I expected. Brittle, looks cheap, and lid didn't fit perfectly. Much better models out there for not much more dollars.

I purchased this to enclose my 2.5 sata drive from my ssd upgrade to a laptop. This drive is very affordable and certainly faster than the usb 2.0 drives. The design is by no means 'apple' quality, but is sturdy and attractive enough for most people. The matte plastic is very nice since it does not gloss and sratch like cheap piece of plastic, and it does not flex so much thus the drive will stay safe from general usages. Speeds are about double the usb 2.0 drive, being 40 to 50 MB/s. I really see no reasons to purchase a more expensive drive as this is a very good blend of price/perormance/design.
One thing I would change about this drive is the cable it came with, it is very clean looking in one piece, but is very stiff like other usb 3.0 cables. This applies many other drives so it is not really a con. And the usage of screw driver bothered me a little because it is just a hassle to get it out and spend a few seconds on it.
