Comments about Interfit 27" White Beauty Dish:
Overall, this is a good dish. I know when I ordered it I knew it would be large, but when you receive it, you realize just how big a 27" dish can be. It puts out some nice light. I use it with a speedlight for now, and you need to crank the power to get nice light because of the size. If I were sticking with just speedlights, I probably would not have invested in this dish because of its size to power limitations, but as I plan to invest in some bigger lights, I thought I would grab this dish now and play around with it while I wait for my lights to arrive as it is usable, just not ideal for speedlights. If you want a good dish for sppeedlights, the Interfit 15.5" dish is very nice when paired with their XS bracket. I own that as well and it does a really nice job.
One point, when I received the dish it was slightly out-of-round. A couple of strategic stretches and it regained its shape. I would imagine this came from shipping. B&H smartly opens up the box and puts in packaging material to protect it during shipment, but I also think the extra material squished into the box may have caused the warping. All and all if I had choose to have it in their and end up with a slightly warped dish versus have it potentially be bent or dented, I'm glad B&H put in the extra material. Just something to note though especially if you want to attach the optional grid.

Great light for portrait work, soft light source with the Bowen light system. The soft cover that comes with the light and the grid greatly enhance the use of this reflector.

I needed an inexpensive Beauty Dish that would mount on my Bowens style head. Great dish great fit, great price saved hundreds over the Bowens model. It even came with the diffisuon sock. I would highly recomend this dish. Thanks B&H for the great advice and assistance.

There are many types of lighting modifiers out there, and this one does a wonderful job of producing great quality of light for portraits. Easy to attach, no set up required. The lack of breakdown of size is the only thing one must consider if taking it to a location shoot.
