I have used this product two different ways, to allow myself and my assistant to both triggerour off-camera flashes independent of each other and to hold a flash and an LED light together. In both instances the bracket did it's job well.

It is an all metal unit which handles the weight of the flashes better than models that contain plastic parts. The umbrella base is not as nice as the Manfortto Lite Tight, but it is serviceable. I wish that the flash bracket detached form the articulating umbrella mount, but this is not the case.

      Overall it is solid.

Great idea and love that it is basic. The problem is that it's not super reliable as far as I can see. Loading the speedlights in can be dodgy... don't do it off the ground because the cold shoe does not always hold snuggly and can be a bit tricky to line up. I have two of these units. The first seems to be just fine, the second one is going back. It wont tighten on the one side and therefore I have no way to properly secure my speed light. The screw grabs, but then it acts like it is stripped and simple springs back out. Also, the placement of the tightening screw is bad... too close to the mount so that if you have a unit (like a sb800) where you have a fifth battery, you cant really get your hands in there cleanly to apply firm steady pressure while tightening. It;s a great idea, but I'm not likely to trust my speed lights to these over the long haul. Will be looking for other solutions.

Comments about Interfit Strobie Twin Metal Umbrella Bracket:

I purchased 3 of these brackets to be used with my 600EX-RT speed lites. The double brackets allow me to position 2 600EX-RT facing in any directions I choose. This last weekend, I had one speed lite positioned facing sideway and the adjacent speed lite positioned forward allowing me to take pictures of the bride coming toward me. After she made a right turn, the adjacent speed lite gave light from that angle.

Comments about Interfit Strobie Twin Metal Umbrella Bracket:

I don't imagine this will hold up for long. I'm a wedding photographer and travel quite a bit for weddings. In the first trip I've made with this item, the cross-bar supporting the two shoe attachments is already twisted and bent. The weight of the metal is very light and easily tweaked by hand, so I imagine a few more trips with this and it will simply snap.

In addition to this, the angle adjustment contains a knurled bolt which is impossible to tighten adequately. I switched it from the angle to the attachment to the light stand however, this is another item that will need to be replaced.

Overall it does what I need it to do ... attach two strobes to one light stand and provide both umbrella attachment as well as tilt adjustment to the strobes. Fairly disappointed with the build quality and don't believe it will last more than a few months of serious use.

Recommended by B&H sales rep and well worth it.

Does exactly what I needed. I like how the umbrella mount is close to the flash mount points and is made to move flashes and umbrella together.

Comments about Interfit Strobie Twin Metal Umbrella Bracket:

I used this for a few speedlites inside a Paul C. Buff PLM. It works great, but B&H tech support gave me the wrong information about the umbrella swivel. The swivel is grooved and has notches in it, meaning it moves like a gear instead of being free-flowing. Like everyone else that has reviewed this already, the swivel is less then ideal, and the rest of the bracket is perfect. That all said, this dual bracket is the best deal for the quality. I just hope that Interfit considers upgrading the swivel on this, then it will be perfect.
