I bought this item in order to mount a beauty dish that I made from a stainless steel mixing bowl and it served it's purpose Super Fantastically. The sturdy construction has no problem holding the weight of the dish.

I bought this item as a spare to be use with the EZYBOX just in case if the original "Ezybox Hot Shoe Mark II Bracket" which is made of plastic might give way .
The construction of this item is solid, they are made of metal and the weakness is the ballhead which hold the bracket. Even with a small ezybox it will not hold, it will slide/move no matter how I tighten it.
This item fits nicely on an Ezybox.
