Great: Solid build, solid lock when locked.Not so great:1) Soon after I got mine, the end of the spring jumped out alongside the centre bolt when I loosened it—I THINK that was because the centre bolt hadn't been properly tightened to begin with,... but I don't know because there are no instructions regarding how to put this thing together properly if it comes apart. I briefly thought I was going to have to return mine, until I managed to correct the problem during some CAREFUL trial and error; if the spring were to get bent by the bolt, that would be bad, wouldn't it. The problem has not, fortunately, recurred. An Ikea-like diagram and instructions would be an asset.2) The specs COULD make clear that you can only choose from one of eight angles; it's not continuously adjustable.3) Note, when you loosen the red lever, the 15mm rods are released long before the angle adjustment is. If you want to change the angle you have to keep backing off on the red lever, I don't know, a good three or four full turns. Would be nice if the rods were released AFTER the angle adjustment was, or, at least somewhere around the same time. (i.e., this is more of a piece that you can 'lock' into 0°, 45°, 90°, etc., and then attach into your rig, than something that you can use to quickly make an angle adjustment with.

Works with all the standard Zacuto gear — I bought it so I could change my setup between the striker kit and the target shooter kit. It does what I need.

It works really well, lets you place handles etc where you need them. Great build quality that you pay for. Should last out the rest of my career!

I am using this to raise a mattebox up a few cm's. The build quality is superb! Nothing to worry about durability and its functionality! I recommend this product.
