The low end is phenomenal! I was surprised on how big the sound can get on this small dock. It's really cool because wherever you place it determines the sound of the bass cabinet. A solid surface is required for the best bass quality but the bigger and more hollow the object it's on, the better the low end. I have 4 15inch subwoofers in my recording studio and this small dock can actually match the bass in my monitors. Amazing product!

Okay lets start with the outrageous price! Then what ever you do don't set this on a table where it may gently get bumped, or a slight breeze might move your mp3 player in anyway. We had it outside and had to constantly reseat the iphone to reconnect it. There should be some sort of back support for what ever ipod type device you are using. What a waste of money!!! Taking it back asap. If I could have given it a -5 stars I would have.

Great investment, quality product. Upon receiving it, I read the manuals which was very useful. It gives suggestions on where to place it to where you would get the most out of it, but with great engineering it sounds great almost anywhere you put it. Great product, highly reccomend it.

I have the boombox set up in the corner of my room and I'm scared to turn it up past half volume, ITS SO GOOD! At half volume i can hear the music through out all the rooms in my house if i leave the door open. It has great quality, great bass, treble, etc. I have no complaints. The design is made to fit perfectly in a corner of a room and from that one corner it makes perfect sound. I have an Iphone 4 and it works perfectly with the boombox, even with my phone's case on it. With just one cable, (the power cable) this boombox is perfectly transportable and looks great in any setting.

The Beatbox blew my mind away. The bass is so deep things in my room would rattle. To get that deep nice bass you need to turn the beatbox really loud. this is a problem because the beatbox can get so loud people outside can hear it. Still this speaker is great i will never go back to anything else. If you have around $500 then go get one if not wait.

speechless.....the bass and clarity even at full volume is too freaking awesome jus' lovin it....in personnel opinion it is a little overpriced but u get what u pay for......so nothyn to complain about....

I intented to mostly use the monster at home and a little bit at work. My work is a very loud and a large plant. I quickly realized that the monster just isn't cut out for my work. The machines at work just drown out the monster (which no fault of the monster) At home though, the monster really lives up to its name. Incredible sound, crisp and loud!! Highs and mids are incredible, 50% sound level is plenty at my home. The bass is decent, but not as good as most reviewers claim. There's just some bass that the monster (or any speaker system that size) cannot achieve. Listen to Ghetto Child by Mystikal and you will see what I'm talking about. My biggest complaint is that I have had issues with the monster from the first day. You can't play the monster at 75% or higher sound level for more than 10-15 minutes otherwise it'll stop playing music, in which you will need to unplug it anywhere from 5-30 minutes to get to work again, maybe longer! Maybe I'm too hard on it, but for [$] I think it should be able to handle 75% for atleast a couple hours. I'm planning on getting it replaced as maybe I just got a defective system.

Man what can i say about the Dr.Dre Beatbox besides that it blew my mind. I recently purchased the Beatbox as a birthday present to myself, needed something to play my ipod for a party i was having. Bought it took it home out the box simple plug in and it was on an popping. This small box had so much deep bass that you can feel the floor vibrating, and the sound quality is amazing. Everyone at my party had something positive to say about my Beatbox. To sum things up love the style love the size and most of all love the sound. This is my first Monster Beats purchase and if other products impress me as much as the Beatbox did it deffinitly wont be my last.

This beatbox goes HAAM! I hook it up to my alarm clock with an aux-to-aux cable, then I take it to the shower, then I let it bang while I'm doing my homework. It is a solid addition to any college house. I would say on average it is being used an average of 3 hours everyday - even more on Saturdays. Saturdays is when we invite the girlies over to party - those little devils love to dance to the thunder.

I live in a very compact appartment, and I dont have much space for a huge stereo, with huge speakers.

I find "Beats By DR Dre" the best way to combine a small unit with awesome sound!

I use it mostly in the garage while working on my car restoration- It ROCKS! I can drown out the shop noise when necessary & the bass pumps incredibly. Make sure you follow the recommendation of placing it in a corner to get the full bass effect if you're a bass nut like me! Plus theres the remote so I can crank it from across the room! Oh yeah, Heavy Metal sounds great on it too!

I love this thing!!! I can charge my iPhone on the dock or hook up my iPad 2 using the cable, even connect to my t.v for a genuine theatre experience. It gives off crystal clear vocals with a nice hard bass when bass is desired! Cant beat this, and the price is great too!

I was looking at iphone docks and there was no dock i heard even of a larger size that came close tothe sound this dock can give to you. many went a little bit louder but even at half the volume of this dock they had less than half the bass of this dock, that in mind the dock goes alot louder than most and keeps its bass the entire way. i would definitely recommend this dock to everyone!!

I was looking to purchase a Bose Sound dock for they sound great and are very easy to travel with... but when I walked into the store to purchase the Bose the saleman asked if I've ever heard the Dre Beatbox... needless to say it impressed the heck out of me for I'm all about sound highs,mids,lows and this has it all. To be honest the apple iphone is not the player to use... do yourself a favour (if sound matters) and purchase a Sony MP3 player and then get a napster account and wait to be blown away... try Mark Knopler's Wild West End for you'll hear the crisp high and mid's of the guitar and the low bass from the drums and bass... I just love this thing thanks Monster!!!
