Comments about C2G 8.5" (215.9mm) Mac-Compatible Mini DisplayPort 1.1 Male to DVI-D Female Adapter Cable:
I use this adapter to connect the Mini Display Port of my Macbook Pro to the DVI-D cable attached to my Viewsonic VX2250m LCD monitor. It does a reliable job of passing the signal from the laptop to the monitor. The connectors on both ends make a tight, solid mate. I would give it 5 stars, but the DVI end of the connector is a bit bulky. The adapter hangs a bit because my MBP is vertically oriented in a stand, but so far Mini Display Port end seems okay with the weight.
