Comments about Benro B3 Double Action Ballhead:
Just got home from eight days of outdoor photography and used the head with 5D Mark 2 with three different lenses including 70 to 200 f4 and the head functioned very well.

Comments about Benro B3 Double Action Ballhead:
Ballhead is solid and keeps a Nikon D3s with a 70-200 lens immovably in place at any angle, regardless of whether the PU70 plate is on the camera or screwed onto the lens' tripod foot. Works great with Arca Swiss plates and with my Really Right Stuff L-plate. In other words, the B3 does what it's supposed to do, no muss no fuss. Value is all right. I subtract half a star for it being "up there" in price (chances are any ballhead over $100-120 will do what this one does just as competently); and another half a star for the boneheaded absence of a D-ring on the PU70 plate, which means you need a screwdriver to attach it to the camera or lens. I bought replacement (knockoff?) plates that DO have D-rings and which can be finger-tightened, no tools needed.

Really pleased with this head so far. It's very fluid and responsive. Not much else to say really. It does well what it's supposed to do!

Comments about Benro B3 Double Action Ballhead:
This is as good or beter as any of the so-called brands. I do not believe that the $400 + heads are twice as good as this. There is no extra accesories needed - Just works out of the box.

Comments about Benro B3 Double Action Ballhead:
I just got my B3 Double action Ballhead several weeks ago. I have only used it once so my review might not be the most accurate at this point, but so far I LOVE it! It is very easy to use and the quick release plate makes life so much easier!

Comments about Benro B3 Double Action Ballhead:
Seems like a quality made product and solid as a rock even with large telephoto lenses and a gripped body.
Comments about Benro B3 Double Action Ballhead:
This ballhead can hold my 1D mark II N, with 70-200 IS, and 580EXII flash with no problem at all, even in portrait mode. Solid like a rock
