Case is nice - very soft and seems high quality. I can't help but feel it's over priced for what you get though. I wasn't disappointed enough to send it back, but I think the case my son got with his Nikon Coolpix 6100 was nicer than this one.

If the overall size could be increased by just a 1/4 inch in all three measurements (Length,Width and Depth) then one could have room to include a battery and a 2nd SD card. Also there will be more room for the camera and less damage (in the long run) due to friction when inserting the camera.
Of course the belt loop is REALLY MISSING.
I intend to buy a wrist strap for the camera and have a belt loop made by a shoemaker.

Yes, it is a tight fit, but it does accommodate the D-Lux 5 with the hand grip and neckstrap attached. I inserted my back-up battery in the small pocket in the interior as well. This case will not protect your camera much if it is dropped, but it does keep the camera protected in your car's glove compartment, briefcase or purse. The leather is of fine quality, and the fact that it has no padding makes it less bulky. I looked at less expensive, padded Cordura nylon cases, and decided they were not what I wanted. Had this case been made to protect the camera from rigorous use, it would have been too big for me. A belt loop would have been nice. I will most likely purchase the ever-ready case, too, for when I need more protection.

Bought the soft pouch [...] Does NOT have a belt loop on it and it it difficult to stuff the neck strap into it---tight fit, creates bulk and doesn't fit into anything but the largest pockets on a coat or jacket. Basically no way to carry it, except to stuff it into your camera bag. Expensive and not practical. Leather is quality.
