Comments about Marshall Audio Minor In-Ear Stereo Headphones:

I have had the Minor In-Ear headphones by Marshall Audio for over four months now.

Compared to just about any earplug or over-the-ear headphones for under $100 on the market these headphones offer quite possibly the best audio quality all the while offering a fairly good microphone to be used when making phone calls.

Whether you're listening to music or just spend hours making business and personal calls, you will be impressed by the quality and clarity of the audio.

These headphones however are not perfect and have two minor flaws that any potential buyer needs to be aware of:

      1. In-Ear design is different from any other headphones in common use on the market today. This means that if they don't quite fit you right due to the shape/size of your ears then your comfort level will suffer.

      2. Microphone needs improvement. If you're going to leave the cord just as it hangs from your head, the microphone is far enough from your mouth that the person you're talking to is likely to complain that they can barely hear you. Grabbing the cord and moving the microphone closer to your mouth eliminates the problem, but it also leads to certain inconvenience - it's no longer a hands-free phone call! I'm not sure if this issue is any worse than most other headphones with built-in on-cord microphones, but this is definitely one thing that could be improved on these headphones. Having said that, the good aspect of this microphone is that it doesn't pick up much of ambient noise, which allows the person on the other line to hear you quite well even if you find yourself in a rather noisy environment.

Overall I like these headphones enough that I bought two more as gifts and heartily recommended them to my friends.

Comments about Marshall Audio Minor In-Ear Stereo Headphones:

I use these daily working outside and inside and have no problems with them falling out. The sound is pretty good, but nothing special, bass and treble are pretty balanced. I feel they could fit better to improve the fidelity, but I can't complain too much because they never seem to fall out or get really loosened. After a really long time your ears get uncomfortable, but that seems to be par for the course for all headphones. They're only 3 weeks old now, so durability will be the big factor, but a year long warranty is a good thing.

Left Ear-Phone Shorted After 2 Month

      By JTom

      from Washington, DC

Comments about Marshall Audio Minor In-Ear Stereo Headphones:

I used the headphones regularly for music and conference calls. They are really nice looking headphones and the sound is not bad, but unfortunately, the left ear-phone glitched within a month or so. I am feeling like Marshall may have left a bit to be desired with this model.

Listen to music on my HTC Evo.

The sound was nice even w/o full noise reduction which I wasn't looking for anyway.

Unfortunately, the left speaker shorted out within 4 weeks and did glitchy things to my Evo. Ugh!!!

Comments about Marshall Audio Minor In-Ear Stereo Headphones:

I got those to replace a pair of Woodees (in-ear style cans of a comparable price). I really liked the Woodees and was considering another pair, then I was intrigued by the Marshall name, the newness of this model series and the unique design.I use my headphones daily in my car, constantly jacked into my Droid 2 for listening to music, phone calls and speech-to-text. The audio performance of these headphones is awesome. Music is very full spectrum. Clean bass. Crisp treble. I thought the sound would be compromised not being fed directly into my eardrum but I have no complaints at all. The whole style, from the packaging to the actual product, is very well done. These are impressive looking and you will keep the box on your shelves. Very nice. The ear click technology is very comfortable and surprisingly secure. Sometimes I pull on them, expecting them to come loose, but they don't. I do run, but haven't taken them out for a sweaty one yet. They do come with 4 sizes of clips.Minor's only flaws (imo) the gold 3mm plug. Very stylish and fits the branding well, but I'm afraid of it breaking off. You get an adapter, but then I'm thinking it could scratch my phone dangling so close. I'd also would have liked a storage bag or wrap key. But that's a suggestion more than a complaint.Love em. Buy them now. Friends will envy. B&H is the best place to get them. [...]

Comments about Marshall Audio Minor In-Ear Stereo Headphones:

These earphones sound good and the new style of ear fitting solves some of the problems I have with normal earbuds. I like these better than the in-ear style that insert into your ear canals, since those tend to be somewhat unsanitary and press the wax farther into your ear. However, the fitting on the top side of these earphones is sort of tricky to get comfortable. I imagine that this varies a lot by the shape and size of each user's ear, but for me, the fit is a little too snug, even with the smallest insert, and this causes a pressure point that gets painful on long trips.

On the plus side, they stayed in very well while I was running, so I would recommend them for working out. The cord doesn't get tangled easily, and the mic works better for my iPhone than my way overpriced Apple earbuds did, since you can clip the cord to your collar. However, it doesn't include a volume control, which would have been nice, but not a deal-breaker.

Also, beware while using with an iPhone: if you touch the gold plug end while talking on the phone, the person you're talking to might get an offensive noise on their end.

Comments about Marshall Audio Minor In-Ear Stereo Headphones:

It's pretty common these days to get a set of earbuds and a mic in the package with our cell phones. Those sets most commonly rate from poor to bad. I saw the Minor as a good replacement set. Are these the best ear buds ever? No, of course not. What they do is give a product worthy of the price tag they're asking.

The ear fit system definitely works (actually use a different size for each ear), and now that I've been using them for awhile I'm really surprised by the bass I get out of them. These are of course earbuds so if you're expecting pounding bass we should first have a short lesson in physics, but the lower range is much clearer than the set that came with my phone and also good for the price point.

The nylon cord is a quality choice. Doesn't tangle, and looks good. I also like the simpleness of the one button control.
