The American DJ Micro Galaxian Laser is a palm-sized, powerful lighting effect that generates up to 200 red and green beams. The Micro Galaxian Laser's size makes it ideal for mobile DJs and touring bands, but it easily holds its own as an installed effect in nightclubs, bars, live venues, reception halls and more. The Micro Galaxian features Auto and Sound Active modes, with 4 built in programs. All four programs are accessible at the touch of a button on the included wireless RF remote control. The lightweight laser is easily installed and includes a dual hanging bracket.

Didn't know what to expect with this laser due to it's cost and size. Can honestly say that I was blown away by it's performance. Completely fills a room with light!The remote is awesome and gives you control only offered in much more expensive units.It's nice to not have to run cables to control another effect, just plug it in and use the remote!

What makes this review so easy to write is that I like everything about this product. Its size makes it easy to carry, and at the same time you don't feel like it's fragile and it's going to break when you transport it. Then what I appreciate a lot from this laser is it's amplitude, the fact that it can fill up by itself massive rooms. An other detail that pleases me is the fact that even if it cover a lot of space it's precision remains remarkable. To summarize, I can't be more grateful to this product when we consider its price and what it delivers. I don't think any laser with the same size and the same price can get close from offering the same precision and amplitude!

I bought this unit to use in a large hall, for events. I was very impressed with the size and ease of set-up use of this unit, and the display area is forever. Our hall fits over 500 people and I can display the light from this unit all over the entire hall on every wall, ceiling and floor. I literally have the unit hidden and people have no idea where the lights are coming from. Only disdvantage is needs more colors!

Use the American DJ Micro Galaxian Laser as part of your mobile music set-up. I do, and it works like a champ. When set to "respond to sound", the Galaxian bathes the dance space with 200 red/green beams dancing to the beat of the music! Plug it in, turn it on, and best of all, it runs coooooool all night!

This laser easily fills the entire room, and judging by the what i've seen it will probably fill rooms much larger than ours. Everyone who's seen it is blown away by just how bright this device is. If you put the micro laser in the corner of a room and angle it properly it will cover pretty much all of the room. Also, since it's so light and I'm too lazy to buy a clamp, I just wrap duct tape around it over a hanging wire which saves money. It looks tacky but when it's dark no-one in the party can tell or care. Just to make sure, I used ALOT of duct tape to ensure it doesn't fall and break. I use this for house parties and it hasn't disappointed yet. You can change between green and red or have both at the same time. Personally, I like to keep it on red because it keeps the room dark whereas the green brightens the room. Both colors are great however. Overall, great product, compliments the DJ Vertigo very well. The only thing I'd say is I would consider getting another light to go along with it if it's the first light you buy.

Over 30yrs in the business, I must say..I'm impressed, I used 2 of these at a high tech military club this weekend and not only was I blown away but the club management was as well.....these little lights can actually fill a room.......I'm going to purchase 2 more before ADJ realize they made a mistake on the price and sell them for they are really worth $250-$300...A must have!

Purchased (2) Micro Galaxian Lasers from B&H Photo[...] I am in a Band & purchased these Lasers to augment our additional lights & light stand(s). At our rehearsal studio, I placed a Micro Galaxian Laser on each light stand with a little seperation, We set the Lasers on "Auto" turned on the Fog Machine, then some music, and the Lasers went thru their paces, WOW! We were provided with, & enjoyed a visual "Light Show". Outstanding performance for a such a Small Product at Small Price!
