This is a must have for any Nikon s8100 owner. The case is very well made high quality leather. I've had other 10-20-$30 cases and nothing has felt this safe. The camera case will take some getting used to at first due to the fact thay it does have to stretch and grow to the form of the camera but that's a 1 day thing. Simple put your camera in and tightly wrap a rubber band and the leather will form and give you the best and a very good snug fit. It's no doubt that for the price this is the case to buy.

Nice leather case - but poorly placed inner slot for memory card. It's located where it will scratch the camera screen. The worst is the magnetic closure. It's not strong enough to hold the case closed. In fact, it barely holds the case closed even when the camera isn't in the pouch! No place to put a battery. Belt loop - but a clip would have been better as a lot of people don't wear belts.

I bought this leather case for my S8200 whose dimensions are ever so slightly larger than the S8100. The case works perfectly on my camera. Beautiful leather case with magnetic closure. Silver label reads Nikon CoolPix on the front.
Case is well built and has a notch especially made to allow for the camera strap. Awesome value.
