This Nikon ML-L5 Remote Control for Coolpix S1100pj Camera can be used to take still photos or to start and stop movie recording with the Coolpix S1100pj digital camera, by remote control. When using the camera's built-in projector, the remote control can be used to change the projected still pictures and to play back movies. It's powered by a CR2025 lithium battery (included).

I purchased the ML-L5 remote to use with my Nikon Coolpix S1200pj camera. The item was shipped within the time frame given by B&H when I purchased the remote, and was well secured and safe on arrival. It arrived with a battery included so I was able to test my remote immediately.
The remote performs very well - the camera reacts to it far more consistently than the samsung remote that I use with another of my cameras. It also has a better distance range - I can trigger the shutter from a distance of 19 paces, which is again much better than my other remote.
I really like this product and I recommend it strongly. I can't live without it!
