No stranger to great sound, Yamaha is involved in every level of audio production - from recording to playback. The NS-SP3800 Home Theater 5.1-Channel Speaker Package (Black) utilizes five 2-way, dual woofer speakers and an 8" 100W subwoofer to provide incredibly full sound, while the silk dome tweeters give brilliant highs. Plus, all the speakers are magnetically shielded, making sure that the sound quality is unaffected by any nearby electronics. Plus, the 8" subwoofer utilizes Yamaha's Active Servo Technology (YST) to achieve maximum levels of sound pressure and overall performance by working with a Yamaha amplifier to cancel out impedance within the speaker to achieve perfectly linear motion.
This is a Natural Sound 5.1-channel speaker package with five acoustically matched speakers (Mains, Center and Surround speakers) and a 100W powered subwoofer, for a seamless surround sound performance.

I use the speakers in my bedroom as my back up home theater system. Because they are small I can easily fit them in my room. They were easy to hang and filled the large master bed room easily. The price was a steal and it was a great deal./ It easily matched my Yamaha receiver and Blu ray player. Kudos for Yamaha.
