The Series 5000 2" Enhanced Diagonal from Meade is for use with all Meade LT, LS, LX90, and LX200 telescopes. It also supports other models with standard, "Schmidt-Cassegrain" type, rear cell threads. This enhanced diagonal features an incredible 99% reflectivity over the visual spectrum. It comes with a Schmidt-Cassegrain to 2" adapter. Included is a 1.25" eyepiece adapter so you can use both 2" and 1.25" barrel eyepiece types. A non-marring compression ring safely secures the eyepieces. The optics are manufactured with thermally stable Pyrex glass and include enhanced dielectric coatings for maximum light transmission. It has been interferometer-tested for great performance.

The Series 5000 2" Enhanced Diagonal carries a full one year Meade factory limited warranty.

      Bought it to replace the 1.25" star diagonal. Very sturdy construction and excellent optic with non marring 2"-1.25" adapter. Occasionally i experienced difficulty in insert 1.25" eyepiece into the adapter. Else everything just work fine. Perhaps it should come with a simple installation drawings but not difficult to figure it out even for a beginner like myself.
