The Verbatim 1TB Store 'n' Go SuperSpeed USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drive offers a digital storage capacity of 1TB and blazing transfer speeds up to 5 Gbps, which is 10x faster than USB 2.0 interfaces. It's bus-powered, so you can easily take it wherever your laptop goes. The Store 'n' Go comes with Nero BackItUp & Burn software (PC only), which provide full system backup and restore functions for your computer and data. You'll have the ability to schedule automatic backup by date or time, and the Store 'n' Go affords the protection of an encrypted backup option with password control. It's compatible with PC or Mac and even comes with a 5GB free trial of Norton Online Backup.

It works but they don't tell you that you need plenty of power on your USB port to drive it. I ended up buying a USB 3.0 add on card to ensure there would always be power on the bus for it. And the Nero backup software is just plain kludgey and unusable for me. For some reason, Windows 7 backup keeps giving error messages too. I ended up reformatting the drive and using Easus free backup, which works flawlessly. Drive is quiet, light, easy to carry (except for the cable). I'm counting on it now to save my data from disasters...but may get a second drive to backup the backup. Once burned...
