The black LegCoat Wrap 115 from LensCoat is compatible with Gitzo Series 1 and 2 tripods. It also fits tripods with leg diameters ranging from 0.75 to 1.18". This 3 pack of wraps is made from soft neoprene that not only protects the tripod legs from the elements, bumps and scratches but also provides a more solid grip while traveling. Open or close the wrap with its touch fastener. Another advantage of the wrap is that it will make your tripod easier to handle when working outside in temperature extremes. It protects the tripod legs, but they are hard to put on and don't really fit right no matter how hard you try. I should have bought the Gitzo's...

I use these on my Gitzo GT2531. They go on easily and fit nicely. These 15" wraps completely cover the main leg extensions of the GT2531, from hinge to extension lock. My tripod feels nicer in the hands with these wraps on. They have a non-slip rubber backing so once they are on, they stay put. These wraps arent overly thick like some other wraps. These may interfere with the center column a bit and make the legs spread out more when closed, but my center column is removed so I dont have that issue. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because these wraps arent completly flat... the lip of the velcro enclosure sticks out a bit. Not a big deal though. In fact, I see no other design that would make it completely flat aside from using pipe insulator and tape - but pipe insulator is a much uglier solution, albeit much cheaper. I bought these wraps for comfort, aesthetics, and for surface protection. They do those jobs well. If you're frugal and dont care about aesthetics, then you'll probably be well served with pipe insulator from [@] instead of these.

I bought it for my Manfrotto 055CXPRO3. It was not to easy to put on. Interior side of these wraps feels like rubber and outside is fine flexible nylon. They come in sheets and you have to wrap them around your tripod legs. I had a hard time putting them on by myself. Other than that, they fit perfectly, give your tripod a nice soft handling, and protects your tripod legs from scratching.

bought those to protect my carbon legs on a
Manfrotto 055cxpro3, the size fit the legs, thats the good point i have to say
on the other hand, it's hard to attach the Velcro properly, if too loose, it looks right but doesn't stay in place and turn around the legs. if you strap it too tight or correct tight it looks weird, makes waves in the fabric (kind of like a XL person wearing a XS shirt)
also it prevent the legs from completely folding down and get in the way of the center column so you tripod takes more space.
so pros: protection
Cons: hard to attach, takes up space, prevent the good working of the legs
