Comments about Glidetrack SD - 20" Slider:
Affordable, light and small for mobility. Everything functions great.
When mounted on tripod, though, the tripod's male thread will screw pass the slider base, stopping the slider at the middle of the track. So you will need 2 tripod heads to operate smoothly all the time. One head on the tripod with its quick release mounted under the slider base, another headon on top of the slider with its quick release mounted under your camera. And you need the two heads with the same quick releases, so when you don't need the slider, but need to shoot with tripod, you can easily place your camera on the head that is on the tripod.
But again, for the prcie, you can't go wrong.

Comments about Glidetrack SD - 20" Slider:
I have been using this slider to create interesting moves when shooting video. For sure, this slider works best with a strong foreground element, and usually with it being quite close to the camera. I like the size, portability and ease of use.

Comments about Glidetrack SD - 20" Slider:
The Glidetrack is a good product, for what it is. I find that it is a very useful tool in my shooting arsenal. But like most production tools, it is about knowing how to use it and when to use it. The bottom line is if you can't afford a dolly and are looking for something that will add production value to your videos and film, this is a good product to have in your arsenal of production tools.

Comments about Glidetrack SD - 20" Slider:
Bought this slider for a production in India. Needed something small, yet functional. Wanted a slider with us, but needed to have something that would fit in a carry-on bag.
Slides smooth as ice. 20 inches doesn't seem like much, but you'd be surprised how great it works when you plan your shots well.

Comments about Glidetrack SD - 20" Slider:
Using this for a short film right now, but I'll be using it on everything later.
I'm only running a 5d on it with a photo tripod head. Don't think I'd recommend any more weight than that on it. It's narrow, when your zoomed out off one side it'll want to jerk, takes a little time to learn how/where to push from.
I got the 20" one. It's short. But it's also really light and portable. It gives me just that little bit of "dolly" and adds alot to the right shots.
It's only got a 1/4 screw but they give you an adapter for 3/8. Works well. Best with small cams.

Comments about Glidetrack SD - 20" Slider:
Its good for travel due its size you can put in your bag i had a previous dolly a a lot bigger and used to had some damage wile had to get an airplane.
its very practical, you can live always in your tripod because the dolly have a lock, different of other products that you have to take the camera and fit in the other device.
The movement is not that long but you can have really nice takes with this little thing having the advantage of the size.
I use photograph equipment to film and its quite strong and have a nice and move with my 100/400 canon lents .
Great for outdoor sports, im a surf cinegrapher and this dolly really give some motion to my lifestyle takes even action takes depending on the landscape.
Great for the value.
