This is the battery that comes free with the Nikon D5200 so I was expecting it to be a lower quality battery. This battery does not last as long as the one that comes with the camera, but it is a very good backup battery.The battery itself easily fits into any camera bag and it works perfectly with the battery charger. However, it does lose charge a bit over time if you let it sit in your camera bag. Make sure to charge it every time before you go out.

Used the battery on a video shoot and it had a good life. With the LCD screen on to shoot the video clips I managed about 35 short clips in a 3 hour window.
