Comments about Switronix Marshall LCD50 P-tap Cable (24"):
Marshall monitors do not require a regulated voltage input, so if you buy this cable, you are spending thrice what is necessary. You can find a far cheaper straight cable from Marshall. I alerted B&H staff, so they may start to stock it soon, but in the meantime, give Marshall a call and ask them for a list of authorized retailers in your area.

Great cable. Gives you an extra ptap too. I wish the cables were coiled though. This is really the only option I found to power this monitor. Way better than swapping AA's every couple hours.

We went through 20 (5 sets of 4) conventional AA batteries in less than a day using the LCD50 monitor, this let us power it off the Switronix battery, very useful. Awfully expensive for a simple P-tap cable but it was very useful.

When you're serious enough to spend this much on a cable, well...
It's length is a little ridiculous but they provide a little Velcro strap to help bundle the slack.
After a while, running your monitor with the battery shoe gets old. A couple of issues begin to arise .., so a battery PACK is really the inevitable choice. So while pricey, it is a must buy.
A PLEASANT SURPRISE is that it gives you an extra PTAP socket on the side of the plastic casing.

This cable came in a kit with the battery that powered the 5D camera and the monitor. But the cable to power the camera is way shorter then the monitor and so setting up the shoulder rig for proper balance forces you to buy the longer camera cable. Great packaging!
