Product Highlights
  • Connects Microphones to DSLR Cameras
  • Female XLR to 1/8" (3.5mm) Mini
  • Low to High Impedance Matching
  • RFI Sheilding
  • Measures 10' (3m)

The Sescom SES-TR-153 XLR to Right Angled Mini Microphone Cable is used to connect standard XLR terminated microphones to compatible DSLR cameras (see compatibility chart below). The cable features a standard XLR female input and a right-angled 1/8" (3.5mm) mini male output connection. Low to high impedance matching "steps up" the microphone level, and its RFI shielding eliminates noise from cellphones, PDA's, WIFI and more.

Comments about Sescom SES-TR-153 XLR to Right Angled Mini Microphone Cable:

I used this paried with my Canon 60D and RODE NTG-2. Noise almost is non-existent and makes for great run-and-gun shooting. The right angle connector ensures the cable won't pop out if the mic starts to move too far away.

I plugged it into my Shute SM58 microphone and recorded some live guitar playing. It worked great on my Canon 7D.

Comments about Sescom SES-TR-153 XLR to Right Angled Mini Microphone Cable:

Plug your pro mic. with XLR connection right into your camcorder - perfect match. I use this when I don't need an external mixer (Juiced Link). With my microphones the signal goes to both Canon Vixia channels equally.

I have other Sescom equipment - GREAT quality.

used to send audio to a dslr from a wireless hop.
Seemed to work fine, did not get any negative feedback from post. For hop use cable could certainly be smaller.
