The Sony LCS-U10 System Case, Small (Black) is primarily designed to fit a Sony alpha NEX 5 or NEX 3 camera with 18-55mm lens and accessories. It can also fit a Sony 2011 Handycam Flash/HDD camcorder and accessories. The case has a zippered front pocket for accessories; including a memory card. It is carried by carry handle or an attached shoulder strap with pad.

I bought a NEX-5N today with the 18mm pancake lens, and naturally wanted to protect my expensive investment. I looked at the case "designed for" the NEX cameras, but it honestly looked really junky and didn't have any side pockets for filters, memory cards, or lens caps. I got this Handycam case instead, and it's better AND $10 cheaper! This case's main pouch fits the NEX 3/5 (probably the 7 too), the 18-55mm lens, the 18mm pancake lens, the lens hood, and either the battery charger OR small compact-size Joby Gorilla Pod... with a little room to spare. You _might_ be able to fit it all in if you squeeze, but it's probably not a good idea. Then, the 3 outside pockets are left for filters and whatnot. Inside there is a removable and movable divider that attaches to the inside of the pouch with velcro. That's actually really clever and lets you store the NEX with either lens attached. The only bad points are 1) the shoulder strap isn't removable and 2) the zipper design can be tricky sometimes. This is because of how the zippers go back so far to allow the top to open and the little "overhang" on the top flap. But overall these aren't deal breakers.

This product was very easy to use and self explanatory of storage places. However, this product is too small to carry all of the parts of a camcorder on vacation. It was to small to hold all cables and extra batteries or chargers and has a very snug fit when camera is in bag which made me feel that the camera was NOT well protected if dropped.

We bought this product in conjunction with a Panasonic camcorder and it's a Sony bag. The Panasonic camcorder and accessories don't even fit in this bag.

Sony NEX 5. Super simple, small bag, for about 15 dollars. Much cheaper than other camera bags. And it still looks basic & nice. Only the strap is a bit thin and could have been done nicer. In my opinion the camera should always come with this Sony bag.

Overall of this case is pretty good, very nice design and it's light. However, it's still small if you want to put your charger and 18-55mm lens with lens hood in the case. You will find it's going to be hard to close it.

The Sony Alpha camera Nex 5 fits in the case nicely. The sun shade attachment will need to be turned around in order to close the case. It is small enough to be not to be clunky
