The Vello Bounce Dome (Diffuser) for Canon 430EX & 430EX II Speedlites and Sony HVL-F43AM will diffuse the light output of the flash, producing softer shadows and a softer, more natural glow rather than the harsher effect when using a direct flash. The diffuser provides even coverage across the entire frame.
The Bounce Dome simply slides onto and off the flash with custom fitting, without the need for touch fastener tabs.

I selected this for compactness and durability. It works well although it is not a replacement for a large softbox. It slips easily onto the Canon 430 flash. I have had some problems with keeping it on. It doesn't fall of while shooting but I think if you brush up against something or pull it out of a bag it may be pulled off. I have another dome on my 580 flash and it never comes off. I plan to tighten the fit with some gaffer tape.

Used this with a 430EX II speedlite on camera to reduce some glare during an indoor shoot. Easy to use, works great. Just wish the dome was a bit more snug fitting as putting away my flash in the bag it seems to fall off, but it works great on camera!

This is a good flash diffuser for the money. It can limit the flash range, obviously, but you can get a good softened balanced light but not extraordinary, is better than nothing. Although it fit well on the flash head it can easily pulled off without any effort, so, you need to keep in mind that any sudden move or smooth hit can make the diffuser to slip out of your flash. I placed a small piece to tape to keep it secured in the flash as a solution.

This is a good piece to have that gets the job done. The down side is that it was not a super snug fit and if someone bumps it, it will pop off. Other than that it is great.

Softens flash light. works great. quick and placement and removal. Slightly lose but a piece of tape on the inside fixed that easily.

I purchased this product to shoot parties and other events where light needs to be distributed across a larger field. It worked terrifically for my mothers surprise 60th birthday. I took AMAZING SHOTS!! Its plastic so it can't break if you drop it. Easy to attach and easy to clean. An all around great product!!

Nothing extraordinary about this...pretty much what you would expect from such a simple inexpensive device. Made of quality plastic and produces quality soft light. Fit was okay, but I did add a little tape to insure it stays put.
