Pint-sized but feature-packed, the B910 HD Webcam from Logitech is a superb way to capture HD widescreen video and clear audio when talking to colleagues, friends, and family. Outfitted with a Carl Zeiss glass lens, this webcam captures sharp HD 720p widescreen video at both an aspect ratio of 16:9 and a smooth 30 frames-per-second. It also features built-in RightLight 2 technology so that your webcam will adjust to low light conditions and a built-in autofocus so your image stays sharp, even in close-ups. Making it great for business conferences or chatting, the webcam has dual microphones built-in to ensure stereo quality audio. The built-in RightSound technology ensures that acoustic noise in your background is neutralized so your conversations sound natural. Beyond video conferencing, the webcam can also take standstill photos at a resolution of 5MP. It's compatible with your Windows PC and is ready for use as soon as you connect it through your computer's USB 2.0 port.
While the webcam could be used for online video chatting, it is well-suited to handle your business conferencing needs. More specifically, it is broadly compatible with virtually any Windows-based business video-calling client, including LifeSize Desktop. It is also certified to work with Microsoft Lync, for optimized, seamless video-calling. In addition, it supports command-line, silent installation so you can easily install many of these webcams and their drivers on computers throughout your business.

I have two of the model 910 webcams and use them for internet streaming through Watershed (the commercial version of Ustream). I set one up as a wide shot and one on the main speaker and then I can switch between them using the Watershed control panel. Internet participants give me good feedback on the quality of the stream. The Logitech interface gives me good control over light settings, focus, zooming and panning. I tried the Microsoft HD camera, but the control interface doesn't work with Watershed and the image is just not as nice as the 910. I recommend HIGHLY.

Disappointed
This camera was purchased after reviewing the specs of many manufacturers. I had no personal experience to compare. I have through the 6 months of use found the following issues consistently occur.

This camera was purchased after reviewing the specs of many manufacturers. I had no personal experience to compare. I have through the 6 months of use found the following issues consistently occur.
1. the moving, or displacement of the cam during use(in a webcast)produces a freezing of the camera and requires a restart to correct.
2. The image quality suffers dramatically in low light (and I prefer to be in a low light environment)
3. The controls for lighting and color are very basic and ineffective to producing a quality life-like image.
Hence my overall experience is not great particularly when I can better results with a much cheaper webcam.

Comments about Logitech B910 HD Webcam:
The drivers were easy to install. My previous logitech webcam came with software so I was caught a little off guard when there was no software with the B910. No big deal though, the internet has a plethora of free software. I would suggest this webcam to anyone looking for an easy to use webcam with great picture quality. Great purchase!

Great little webcam. The sound wasn't all that wonderful (sounds like you're inside a metal box), but I am extra picky... my husband thinks is wonderful, so does everyone I spoke with using the webcam.
I have a Yeti THX-Certified USB Condenser Microphone as I need the clearest sound possible for my podcasts, but again, those are my personal needs, not limitations of the webcam.
I do recommend this camera. It is wonderful, works well and delivers what it promises.

We use this for video conferencing and the wide angle lense is perfect for allowing 10 of us in a conference room to be seen by remote attendees. It was plug & play and we were up running immediately.

I use the B910HD from Logitech as a replacement for my older webcam (also a Logitech). The clarity of the audio & video is noticeable by clients and vendors with whom I conference and the install was extremely easy (using Windows 7 if anyone wants to know). I highly recommend this webcam to anyone seeking HD video.

I don't recall the last time I was able to install anything with such ease. To top it off, this B910 webcam works beautifully. 1 hour later I Skyped my daughter and we had no problems seeing each other. During the call I was able to make some precise low light adjustments that she could help me with. She was very impressed with the camera being able to follow me as I moved. I'm a bottom line type of person, so bottom line, this was one of my best tech purchases.

I use this camera to stream live several events and it has superior video quality, real HD. I had before a Sony NEXVG10 Full HD and you cannot see a difference on the quality. The only disadvantage is you cannot have smooth zoom or pan on PC and the other disadvantage is that you cannot have camera control in Mac Platform. Good HD quality for less than $100.00

We Purchased this B910 after an extensive search for the highest res camera in the market.
Our use is for still shots with auto PC control.
The digital inhanced pixtel count does not work well for still shots.
The product is well made.
Works fine.
Picture quality unsatisfactory for our use.
