My friend introduced me to this RC-3 and now I own it. It is super fun to use and it is exactly as I expected (imagining myself playing scale on my electric guitar to the accompaniment of chords that I looped) - love this gadget!

Comments about Boss RC-3 Loop Station:
Haven't played live with it yet but can see it's usefulness for live acoustic guitar performances. Great tone and easy to use out of the box. Excellent practice tool. I like to record an acoustic guitar phrase and then loop it in order to work out harmonica and other lead parts. a little pricey but lot's of fun.
Comments about Boss RC-3 Loop Station:
I play nylon string guitar. I was looking for a devise that would help my play and store loops to use as backing tracks. Strengths:
- devise can store 99 loop for a total time of 3 hours
- big plus; can take loops via USB from pc (but they have to be wan not mp3)
- provides overdub (which i don't use much)
What is not so good;
- Had to buy seprate AC adapter for it
Overall, i think this is a very good product for using to create loops and backing tracks.

Comments about Boss RC-3 Loop Station:
Very nice, it records and plays back.
Boss should really include a power adapter though, this will only run a few hours on a 9v battery.
I made an awsome recording of U2's "with or without you" the second day I had it.
It is simple, press pedal to record, press pedal to overdub over what you just recorded, press pedal to stop and listen, press pedal to overdub again, press pedal twice to stop....
It doesn't include a USB cable or 1/4" cable to plug in to your amp, these are extra money, but they're worth it.

Comments about Boss RC-3 Loop Station:
[...] The pedal works great. One thing that I am trying to get used to is that when I click the pedal to stop recording the loop, it actually goes straight into overdubbing the loop. This was not mentioned on the Boss website and makes it a little harder to get used to but this function could actually be of great use.
