Almost all of our in-house created DVD's are done on the AquaAce discs. The waterproof feature is nice, not because it might rain on my discs, but because the ink never smudges or runs. Discs have a really professional appearance when printed on these discs. They've alas been very reliable, only had one or two clinkers in hundreds burned, and I'm not sure those were even the disc's fault.

The DVD's in and of themselves are a great product, but the packing material used is not good enough to prevent the 2 spindles I ordered to be cracked at the bottom. I have yet to see if any of the bottom discs are damaged or scratched.

I've always used the mat finish printable DVD's but since I bought the AquaAce Glossy I'll never go back. I just love how nice they print out and plus they don't smudge even right after printing, it can't get any better then that.

I duplicate DVD's for church organizations and weddings. I have tried "glossy" DVD's before and absolutely NONE match the dependability of this product. This glossy is ACTUALLY glossy! It looks like it was screen printed on a thermal printer. It is also great for art because they are hub printable. Hard to believe these are made for inkjet. If you want to impress your clients, BUY THESE DVDS! I will continue to use them as long as they are made. The only downside is that Verbatim does not make these in the DUAL LAYER 8.5GB format. Other than that, The quality is AMAZING!

I run a business transferring film and videotape to DVD and Blu-ray, and have always used inkjet printable DVDs for labeling. I never liked the dull printing surface on other discs, and decided to try the AquaAce Glossy discs. The quality is amazing, but there is a warning on the container label that they can stick when played in slot-loading DVD devices. When I tell my customers about the possible sticking problem, then they do not want the glossy discs. I bought two 50-disc packs, and plan to return the unopened pack. This is the reason I am only giving it three stars.

I ordered these discs for my business, and have been very pleased with the quality of the labels. The glossy look resembles the silk screen look for commercially produced DVDs. My only concern in the notice on the label about the discs possibly sticking when played in the slot-loading DVD players. I feel I need to inform my customers at the time of order so they can decide if this is going to be a problem.

I really liked the quality of the DVDs. They do not look like the regular inkjet photo DVDs. These look almost screen printed, very professional. I think my clients will be so excited to get these!!

Used with Canon Pixma MG5350 with excellent results. Drys very fast and i havent noticed any colour fade yet but this could come down to printer ink.

16X allows for fast burning with no errors so far. Have always purchased verbatim and have always been very happy.

Shipping to Australia from B&H was quick. They have always been very prompt with posting items out.

Feels a tad bit sticky on the edges initially when holding them but seems to go away after a while...hmm I think it maybe the a special clear coat sprayed on to the disc to make it waterproof.

Highly recommended and i will be buying more!

I couldn't wait to get these babies. When they arrived, I fired them up (printed) in a new Epson Stylus 1400 I just bought. They just blew me away. They are exactly what I was looking for. The clarity, the color saturation, the sharpness and everything was just great. I am hooked and will be buying them from now on.

These disk have never let me down. I have been using them for many years in providing DVD's for my customers and can count on one hand the number of disks that have failed to write, or read. The printable surface dries fast and is very resistant to water. I can think of no negatives when it comes to this disk.

then I decide to buy them. I'm very happy I did it.
The product is reliable, the pictures imprinted are amazing and they don't lose quality on the content of the final burned dvd's.

Burned thousands of TY Watershield blanks in the past, but was frustrated that printed blacks (Canon IP3000 printers and Canon ink) would gradually turn to a slate shade over a week or two.

Tried Aquaace and the blacks still fade, but much less, I'd call it a very dark slate.

Just wish Verbatim made Aquaace in CD-R also.

I've used Verbatim DVDs exclusively for years because they're so dependable. I purchased these DVDs for a family project where I transferred some movies and old videos to DVD. The AquaAce Glossy White Inkjet Printable Hub Printable make your pictures on the front of the DVDs look sharp and beautiful, and as always, burned dependably. I would definitely buy these again.
