Comments about Casio CTK-7000 61-Key Keyboard:

If you're like me, and are looking for the beautiful playability of earlier models but the Professional toolset of other brands, then you've got your answer right here, the CTK-7000.
First of all, I'm a professional performer with more than 25 years of experience. I've had every brand keyboard you can think off, and have had all the mishaps you can think off also. Now, I also have the Kronos X (Korg) but that one is as user friendly and expensive as an alien ship. Yet the one keyboard in the "affordable" tier that has never let me down, whether it was a gig in front of hundreds, a impromptu solo at a friend's, a quick jam at a party, or practicing at home, was the CTK-611. So after I decided to graduate my 611 (which now looked like a veteran spartan warrior) I decided to go big or go home and got the 7000.

I wasn't dissapointed. This beast has more uses and functions than Batman's utility belt, yet it's intuitive and versatile like the CTK line has always been. I could go for a while describing my favorite functions, so let's just say it'll do whatever you want it to do. Period. I was a little wary of letting go of the number pad, but the recall preset function made me forget about it. Excellent keyboard overall.

Comments about Casio CTK-7000 61-Key Keyboard:

this keyboard is great. the only drawback is that it takes so long to understand the myriad possibilties. you really need to do serious study. i think one useful thing to accelerate understanding might be videos that show the actual steps involved in the operations in detail. i know there is a lot more than what is discussed in the manual. anyway this is one great value. thanx...

Comments about Casio CTK-7000 61-Key Keyboard:

I compared other keyboards to the Casio CTK-7000 and nothing in it's price range was close (save for other Casios + or - $). I am learning to play and look forward to using all of the features!

Comments about Casio CTK-7000 61-Key Keyboard:

First of all, this is a great keyboard and for all the high end functions, the price is fantastic. Well Done Casio. The main purpose of this review is to give kudos to B&H Customer Service. I purchased this during the holidays and they had a great price. When I went to purchase the price went up the the real price and I could not order at the great price. I called their customer service and they were extremely curteous on the phone and matched the previous price. They wanted to help me, and stood by their sale price. A pleasure shopping with them. I have purhased from B&H previoulsy and it was a pleasure each time.
