I liked this one because it is padded and seemed very sturdy. It also fits all my other lenses.

I purchased the Lowepro pouch case to houses and protect one of my very best lenses from the elements. It is very well made with dual zipper closures, ample padding and a rugged outer shell. I cannot find any down side to purchasing, owning or using one of these fine cases.

Comments about Lowepro Lens Case 9 x 13cm (Black):
Nice lens case for my Tamron 17-50mm and Canon 85mm f/1.8 lenses. Both lenses fit fine with their hoods reversed. I hoped that my Canon 70-300mm f/4-5.6 would fit in this case but it does not. The hood for that lens does not fit into the case and without the hood, I can't close the top of the bag when I have the lens inside.

Comments about Lowepro Lens Case 9 x 13cm (Black):
I bought this case to store and protect my AF-S Zoom-Nikkor 17-35mm f/2.8D IF-ED lens.
It does the job quite well, it's padded in the inside and at the back it comes with a belt strap.
I do not carry or store the lens hood here.
The fit is not too stretch which is great to easily store and take out the lens without trouble.
The price is good and the quality is very high.
I am very happy with the purchase, you cannot go wrong with Lowepro Lens Cases.
Hope that helps.

This lens case is nice because it is portable and sturdy. My only complaints are that I wish it a removable shoulder strap, and I wish it was wide enough to hold my EF-S 18-135 IS lens with its hood attached (backwards of course.)

Comments about Lowepro Lens Case 9 x 13cm (Black):
I use this product to store, protect and carry my small lenses, teleconverters and camera/lens grips. Extremely well made and durable. Foam padding protects the contents when stored on the shelf at home, in my carrying case or on my belt in the field. I like the fact that the zipper is not covered by an all weather flap (I do not shoot in the rain!), so it is very easy and fast to open the case and remove the stored item. Also very easy to attach or remove from a belt.

...bombproof!...bought two of these for my prized Hasselblad lenses, and I can not imagine chosing any other. They are very well padded, and the cover overlaps the opening for complete protection. The interior cloth is such that the lens easily slides in or or out. You can't see the reverse in the picture, but there's an extra-heavy duty velcro belt loop for convenient carry.

Use this case to protect my lenses when I carry them on a trip. This case will work perfect for either my 17- 40 or 100 macro. I have different size lowepro cases for other lenses and just use them inside a larger carry case for protection when I'm traveling.

Comments about Lowepro Lens Case 9 x 13cm (Black):
I use this case to store my Tamron 17-50 non vc lens. The lens fits like a glove with no slop at all, but you do have to reverse the lens hood. You do have about 3/4 of a inch of play between the lens tip and top of case once lens is seated in case. If you want a little bit more play inside case then you should go up a size because you do have to pull the lens out of case by the lens tip. I prefer this over a loose fitting case. Also I attach this lens case to my lowepro toploader AW55 camera bag and it works great.
