The DAV-TZ130 BRAVIA 5.1 Home Theater System from Sony allows you to add immersive 5.1 surround sound to your home theater system, to put yourself right in the middle of your music and movies. The receiver features an integrated DVD player with upscaling and HDMI output so you can watch your old DVD favorites at near-HD quality. The 5.1 speaker system provides clear, detailed audio with Dolby Digital and Prologic decoding to deliver a theatrical experience in the comfort of your own home. The system even has a USB port so you can load media from a USB device.

I was thinking that it was have a better performance than what I am getting out of it. The volume only goes up to 33. I have to put in a smaller room now and get something else for my theatre, because it does not put out enough sound for anything othere than a smaller room.

It is very useful. It was easy to set up. The pieces are a little bit smaller than they look in the picture but for [$] the do a pretty good job. I recommend it for anyone who is trying to save money on a bachelor pad but still wants to impress during movies.

This is one of those "Why did they even bother?" products. The sound quality is terrible out of those plastic speakers and the video signal is so weak it couldn't make it through a 40' line that every other DVD player can. The only reason to buy this is if your preschooler needs a My First Sony surround sound system to watch Yo Gabba Gabba on.

I bought this item because I needed a little more volume from my TV, and I wanted a richer sound. It's not a top-of-the-line system, but it does the job pretty well. Not premium sound by any means. Very limited on input options also. For what I paid for it, it's great.
