The Samsung SPC-300 Coaxial Remote Controller allows you to control a single camera unit using a coaxial cable or RS-485. Camera control across long distances is possible using a maximum cable extension capability of up to 1640.4’ (500m). You can control the camera externally via RS-232C or RS-485 interfaces. The controller can be powered via a 12 V DC adaptor or 4AA battery, and weighs 1lb (0.45kg).

Comments about Samsung SPC-300 Coaxial Remote Controller:
I had five issues with the product/support:
(1) The Up-the-coax Coaxitron data has the high data bits ("1" bits) inserted before
the start bit. This does not match other Coaxitron products I've seen.
The SPC-300 also does not work with the cameras I tried that were known to work
with Coaxitron data.
(2) To change among the serial protocols, the manual says to download
information from the web. The USB driver and the iic files with
the actual protocol information are available on the web. But there
is no utility, program or instructions that actually will upload
the iic file. So I could not change to the other protocol sets.
(3) I tried to find out if both PAL and NTSC are supported for the up-the-coax
Coaxitron data to no avail.
(4) Several phone calls to the Samsung Techwin support site went unanswered.
They never returned a single phone call.
(5) The "SEND" button on Samsung Techwin online form did nothing, so
there was no way to get support via the web.
