Using the Bluetooth adapter, you can connect up to seven mobile phones or Bluetooth headsets and use them within a range of 30 feet of the Telo.* You can also answer mobile phone calls on your Ooma Headset (not-included) or home phone, or you can transfer them. Beyond Bluetooth, the unit comes with lifetime free nation-wide calling and cheap international rates, eliminating pricey phone bills.*** The Telo improves on the original Ooma Hub's design, with a USB port for connecting your Bluetooth adapter, support for Ooma Telo handsets, and an online phonebook.

The Telo uses large, intuitive buttons to control basic functions like changing lines, retrieving voicemail, and send-to-voicemail. With the Ooma service, your voicemail is stored online and can be retrieved from anywhere. Management is handled easily through your web browser, letting you view a call log, block unwanted numbers, purchase pre-paid international calling minutes, and find quick support for problems.

Free US Calling
Your one-time purchase of an Ooma system frees your phone service. Call anyone, at any number, anywhere in the US without charge.
Bluetooth Wireless Connectivity
Connect up to seven mobile phones or hands-free Bluetooth headsets within up to 30 feet of the Telo, once you've plugged the Bluetooth adapter into the Telo's USB port.
Bluetooth Mobile Phone Call Flexibility
Transfer calls from your mobile phone to your home phone or your Ooma Headset (not included) or you can answer mobile phone calls on either your home phone or Ooma Headset.
Bluetooth Headset Versatility
Answer calls on your Bluetooth headset (not included) if dialed to your Ooma phone number, or place calls with your Bluetooth headset, or transfer calls to your Bluetooth headset from the Ooma Headset (not included).
PureVoice
In today's connected home environment with Internet file sharing, video streaming, and on-line gaming, Ooma's PureVoice Technology delivers clear audio even if substandard calling conditions exist.
Advanced Voice Compression
Advanced voice compression reduces bandwidth consumption by 60% over standard VoIP technology. That leaves you with more bandwidth for all other online activities and increases the likelihood that your voice traffic will be delivered properly by your ISP.
Wire-Speed QoS
Even though Ooma uses only a fraction of the bandwidth of standard VoIP technology, preserving voice quality requires that those packets arrive on time. The Ooma Telo prioritizes voice packets without slowing down the rest of your network. This way you can enjoy crystal clear calls even as you're uploading your latest video clips.
Adaptive Redundancy
Packet loss can cause voice to sound stuttered or garbled. The Ooma Telo detects packet loss on your Internet connection and automatically sends redundant packets to boost the clarity of your phone call.
Encrypted Calls
Ooma uses the same encryption technology governments use to protect classified data to protect your conversations. This makes Ooma even more secure than the traditional landline.
Bundled Features
Ooma gives you all the calling features you've come to depend on, including caller-ID, call-waiting, and voicemail.
Exceptional Voice Quality
The Ooma system is designed to give you the crisp, acoustic performance of a landline.
Choice of Phone Numbers
When you purchase an Ooma system, you can choose a new number in any calling area in the US. If you want to keep your phone number, ooma gives you the option to move your number from your current phone provider (with a one-time porting fee).
Easy Setup and Support
Ooma has been designed for an intuitive out-of-box experience. Most users are able to start dialing in about 15 minutes. An online support site is loaded with dozens of articles, diagrams, tips, and facts. Further support is provided by a lively customer support forum and a phone-based customer support team.
E911 Service
When you choose a new phone number, or transfer an existing number, Ooma will provide E911 service at no extra charge. Emergency personnel will automatically be given your registered address when you dial 911 (subject to availability).
Flexibility to Keep a Landline
Oooma gives you the flexibility to integrate a low-cost landline as a backup to the VoIP service provided. This means you can keep your current phone number and enjoy the assurance of traditional 911 service and seamless coverage during Internet and power outages.
Low-cost International Calling
Ooma offers low-cost international calling starting at only pennies per minute. Prepay for international calls in increments as low as $10.
My Ooma
My Ooma is your online destination for the ooma service. You can listen to messages, manage your account preferences, prepay for international minutes, and even set up voicemail notifications, 24 hours a day.
Broadband Answering Machine
Each Ooma device has a simple interface for you to listen to your messages hands-free. Play, save, delete, and navigate through your messages without having to pick up the phone. If you are away, call in to listen to your messages, or hear them online from the ooma Lounge.
Voicemail Notifications
Expecting an important voicemail message? Stay informed with new message notifications. Notifications can be sent to any email address or SMS-capable mobile phone. With a subscription to Ooma Premier, you can even setup voicemail forwarding directly to your favorite email accounts.
Call Logs
Get the convenience of checking your calling history from any web-enabled computer or device. You'll quickly be able to find the incoming and outgoing calls you are looking for with handy sorting and filtering controls.
Anonymous Call Blocking
Fed up with anonymous calls? Force callers to expose their identity with Anonymous Call Blocking. In order to reach you, callers will need to show their caller-ID - this way you'll always know who is calling. With Ooma, you have the option of blocking anonymous calls completely, or sending them straight to voicemail.

My only regret is that I didn't know about this product a long time ago! We have a cell phone plan and I often thought about eliminating our "home" phone and using only the cell phones. I never felt 100% good about this option for several reasons BUT I did not like the phone bill every month especially when the phone was not used a whole lot. This is MY perfect option. It will pay for itself in less than 5-6 months and I won't give up anything. I bought the wifi adapter prior to hook up and I'm glad I did. I have it on my counter next to the phone and I don't have to have it connected to the modem. It really is worth the $. I also spent $$ to have my home number ported and it's well worth it to me. Make sure if you do this, you do not disconnect/stop your current provider until Ooma tells you that your number is completely ported.I hope this review helps because I'm not one that usually writes reviews BUT I am one that basis my buying on reviews.

The features were great: caller id had first and last names, answer your cell phone calls through the device, easy to set up etc but my friends complained about the call quality. My friends with a regular landline, cell phone and land line had no issue but it would not work with cable connected phones and was spotty sometimes on the other calls. I ended up returning it because I can't have a device my friends refuse to talk to me on. That defeats the whole point of this device.

I love the concept, love the features, call quality is good. I have had two base hardware failures just after the warranty runs out. I just ordered my third device in 27 months. Soooo, the math on that and its [$] per month. Still a bit cheaper than POTS.

Comments about Ooma Telo VoIP Phone System w/ Bluetooth Adapter:

I replaced a Uverse Callvantage phone with the OOMA. It took all of 15 seconds to unplug the old and plug in the new. Call quality is great and I really like the ability to block unwanted callers.

Comments about Ooma Telo VoIP Phone System w/ Bluetooth Adapter:

I had the ooma telo for about three weeks now without any issues. It was able to set it up in less than ten minutes. The call quality is great for me. I current have a cable internet connection rated 30MB's down and 2MB's down. I ported my old land line over in about two weeks. No complaints or regrets.

Comments about Ooma Telo VoIP Phone System w/ Bluetooth Adapter:

I am very happy with my ooma! The tone is clear. It was easy to install. The only reason I say mostly happy is because the Blue Tooth Device does not work with my phone. When I discovered this I was very disappointed as I purchased the ooma with Blue Tooth because where I live cell reception is not very good and I would love to be able to get my calls through the ooma. I did not even consider the possibility that it would not work, because I have an Android Mesmerize. I did speak with customer service and it seems that maybe eventually it will work with my phone as they are constantly upgrading which devices will work with the Blue Tooth adapter. So until then I give them 4 starts. Other than that I am very happy with my purchase and I would make the purchase again.
