I brought this rig for use with the Sony FS100 and Canon 5D, I found it awkward to work with and you couldn't use it for long hours, as the weight of the camera presses down on the part that rests on your ribs, if you breath in and out to heavily your lungs move the camera. I sold this rig already. However I am skinny, if you are a bulkier build this rig maybe suitable for you.

Need a more clear usage and assembly manual. Had to call the mfg to understand application of supplied components. The product does provide a sturdy shoulder system. Good for small and mid sized camcorders and cameras.

Okay, the saying goes that you get what you pay for so for about on quarter the cost of a comparable redrock system you should get basic functionality without the bombproof, overbuilt, carbon fiber goodness. Instead you get a product that probably shouldn't have been made at all. The cheap plastic shoulder brace is actually the best part about this system and comfortably balances the camera without heavy counterweights. The modular 15mm rail structure is where the real weakness in design shows. The yellow plastic thumb screws that are supposed to hold everything together are painful to use and can never be tightened enough to make the rig solid. I got tired of the handles constantly slipping and messing up my shots so I tightened down the cheap, plastic screws as much as possible with my hands and the aluminum clamp snapped before the handles were ever reasonably solid. I have used redrock, genus and zakuto rigs and all are completely superior in all ways. whatever you are filming from home videos or weddings to in-the-field documentaries you need better than this.

We've been using the product to shoot documentary style video on location across Europe. If offers great freedom (away from a tripod) and mobility. However, the assembly procedure was not thought through that well, as you need to take apart many parts of the structure in order to get at the 'screw' to release the camera. Makes it cumbersome when moving on to the next project or location. That said, the alternative products are way more expensive!
