The JVC GZ-HD520 HD Hard Disk PAL Camcorder is a mid-range high def camera that boasts 1920 x 1080 recording, a 120GB hard disk drive, and a microSD card slot, among many other features. At your disposal with the HD520 would be 40x optical zoom, JVC's Advanced Image Stabilizer, and Konica Minolta HD Lens. All of these tools work together to ensure detailed and vivid memories that are not only stunning to view, but future-friendly.
Going beyond what's fast becoming accepted as the 'basics', the HD520 has a number of shooting controls that take the guess work out of recording. Convenience features like Auto REC, Laser Touch, Face Detection, and more ensure that you'll get just the shot you want and still be able to enjoy the moment. - Camera-shake compensation is another important feature of a video camera. Our Advanced Image Stabilizer (A.I.S.) expands the effective area at wide angle, delivering powerful compensation for camera shake. Now, you can enjoy stable results even if you're trotting alongside your subject
- Time-Lapse Rec
- Time-Lapse REC records one frame at a time at set intervals (1-80 seconds). So you can watch movement that's hours long in just a few seconds when played back. It's great when you want to observe an event that takes place over a long period of time or to record unique-looking scenes in a creative way
- Auto REC
- When a subject enters the detecting area and the luminance changes, recording starts automatically. Recording continues as long as there is movement within the area and automatically stops after 5 seconds of no movement. You can use it like a surveillance camera or to observe something.
