The AudioBox Studio Set from Presonus is a complete hardware/software recording bundle that requires only the addition of a computer to start recording and producing multi-track songs, creating podcasts, or doing field recordings for video or sound effects.
The included AudioBox is a 2-channel, ultra-mobile, USB bus-powered audio/MIDI interface, featuring two microphone preamps with phantom power that can happily power the included M7 large-diaphragm condenser microphone.
The Studio One software lets you work quickly and stay focused on your inspiration. Incredibly easy to learn, it offers unlimited tracks and plug-ins and delivers features not normally found in entry-level DAWs. It also provides powerful editing tools and allows for loading audio clips, MIDI files, and effects via drag-and-drop functionality.
The HD7 high-definition headphones take advantage of a patented, semi-open sound chamber to deliver exceptionally deep low frequencies with a balanced and yet powerful bass punch. Whether you're monitoring, tracking, or mixing, you will benefit from the sonic performance of these headphones.

Set up was a little cumbersome but once started it was pretty self explanatory. The positives of the system include the USB connection for the mixer, the multiple inputs with XLR and 1/4 inch, and the amount of items that came with the set.The negatives though were that there is a hum in the line when you add the +48 power to use the mic that was supplied. Not sure if this is due to use through my laptop or if this is just a grounding issue with the USB. Overall: The thing works as long as you use your own mic to plug in that does not need the power boost.

I'm using to record my demo to put onto my website. The ease of set up is awesome. I actually installed on my laptop with the files going to an external hard drive, which allows my recording to be mobile and go wherever I want to record. A mobile recording studio! Headphones, mic and AudioBox are great quality items for an awesome price. Upgraded to the Studio One Professional software online for additional functions and the ability to save and use as mp3 files. Great buy for a great price!
