Overall very nice TV for the price, especially when compared to the XBR 65" being double the cost. However, I do wish that Sony offered a top of the line NON-3D TV - as we felt that we were paying for something we didn't want nor will ever use.
PROS: Clear picture
CONS: Screen very glossy, would prefer a matte finish
Internet downloads when access directly through Sony interface require several interruptions of video for downloads - however, when accessing the same episodes through our connected XBOX, the download is transparent and does not require any paused for loading interruptions. This would lead me to believe that somehow the Sony processor is not fast enough to keep up. Disappointing from Sony.

I was vascillating between the 65XBR and this set. I'm glad I put the $ in my pocket because the picture quality is just great, even at factory settings.
Highly recommend B&H for their quick and no non-sense approach.

The picture on this TV is incredible. When the TV is in normal mode it almost looks 3d. Very easy to operate and when one buys a sony dvd player, the tv remote controls the dvd Player thru the TV, which means the DVD player can be behind closed doors and one will have full control of it. The monolithic design is beautiful. 3d is exceptional. I have never seen such depth on a TV screen. Sound quality is not bad but its not great.
