You can manually scale images or even recall presets from the camera, and control over brightness and contrast for a clear and precise display.
Displaying the level of audio being recorded via audio meters, the EVF Snap has a battery level indicator that gives you an indication of the charge available in the battery. Nice image, but it introduces an additional 2-frame delay to the HDMI output of my Sony FS100 (which is already 3 frames late).

Kinda small and kinda cheap... It's OK but I'd have a backup plan if I were on any serious shoot.

Comments about Zacuto Z-EVF-1S EVF Snap:
As a wedding videographer we use a video slider with our DSLRs but in order to get low angle shots we had to kneel down and just guess the speed and focus. With the EVF we no longer have to do any guessing work. This is the best high resolution monitor and it's super easy to use and setup.
The preloaded screen settings for the cameras are great and the high resolution screen makes it extremely easy to check the focus, shutter speed and aperture. And it's great that the zacuto eyecup fits perfectly.
Only down side is the hotshoe mount that's provided with the EVF. It tends to get a bit loose while you're using it. We haven't had it fall of yet but it would be a heartbreaker if it did.
Overall, GREAT monitor for the HDSLR!!!

I just used it on a shoot and was impressed with how much it has helped improve my handling of my rig. Being able to move the EVF to the my eye without moving the camera is a great help.
