International Orders*The Classic EZX Drum Library from Toontrack is a royalty-free collection of drum sounds, merging modern techniques with classic technologies to provide you with the best of both worlds. Produced by Peter Henderson and Chris Whitten, the Classic EZX allows you to create tracks ranging in style from 70s rock or contemporary pop.
The collection features instruments from Yamaha, Noble & Cooley, and Craviotto, which were all recorded on the Helios console. This console has been in use for over 40 years, and has been dubbed the "Musician's Choice" for great sound. The collection was recorded using 2 different mic setups - a contemporary multi-mic setup and a classic 4 mic setup. The 4 mic setup was used on many big albums from the 70s, helping to shape the unique sound that is making a resurgence today.
The Classic EZX has 2 extensive libraries, played by Peter Fredlander and Chris Whitten. Peter's library has different songs with variations of 4-8 bar building blocks. Each song also has a Jamtrack of the complete song from start to finish. Chris's library offers revisited recordings from his long recording and touring history.

Comments about Toontrack The Classic EZX Drum Library:
I am pretty loyal to Toontrack EZX; I own a lot of their expansion packs. I love them all, and every song calls for a different sound. Toontrack has a super intuitive interface, great graphics, and a great sound. Routing is great, meaning you can buss each EZX channel to your own dynamics channel, ie: snare to a separate snare channel with eq, compression and sends all separate from, say, the room channel. The Classic EZX is one of many expansions, the highest in data (which is harder for the computer to process in a heavy mix), but I don't think it's the "end all be all" expansion. It truly has its own unique sound and it's good on certain songs. Just as the Claustrophobic, and Funkmasters. I love their products though and the Classic is great.
