The thing he loved most was the fact that the cable is not permanently connected- he has a history of being hard on cable- this means that he is not out a whole set of headphones if he breaks the cable. I love the bag and how they fold up so compactly- now he can keep it all together- less chance of him breaking them as he drags them around! Great early Christmas gift!~

I use these headphones to DJ in nightclubs, as well as my mobile gigs.
They are very versatile, loud and extremely clear. Plus they look pretty darn cool!
These blow away Beats...... don;t believe the hype.

I shoot a lot of video and had an older pair of Sony MDR-7504s as my portables. Even the newly purchased replacement ear pads for them were disintegrating and leaving black chunks of vinyl all over my ears, so it was time for a new pair.I wanted something lightweight and foldable for fitting in my gear bag, and having rotatable cups would make monitoring both the camera sound and external sound at once easy when called for. Better sound isolation in noisy environments (think NASCAR and such) would be nice too.When I plugged these Red Waves into iTunes I couldn't believe my ears. The Sonys had a nice crisp, detailed high end, but no discernible bass below my estimated 500Hz. These Red Waves play all the bass AND high end my $4,000+ car stereo plays. Obviously, they can't vibrate my whole body like the car is capable of doing, but they play all the audible bass I can throw at them. They almost rattle my head (in a good way) a bit on some notes. The bass seems tight and accurate like a strongly amped subwoofer. No boominess to me. It makes me realize how flat my computer speakers are and they are now up next for replacement!The highs on these Red Waves right out of the box were not as crisp as the Sonys but warmed up considerably over a few days. I added a little EQ boost and now they are just as crisp as any headphone I've ever used. Now the Sonys sound really brassy by comparison. These rival any of the super-expensive headphones I've heard and are quite sensitive. Even played from an MP3 player, volume shouldn't be an issue. If it is, you are well on your way to hearing loss!Some people complain that the band squeezes too tightly, but even right out of the box they fit my head perfectly and are quite comfortable. That's really saying something since my head is huge - I don't fit in many of the largest available sizes of motorcycle helmets.These phones were actually so comfortable I wound up staying up most of the night I got them, rediscovering the sounds I'd never heard in my music collection. Even a stupidly expensive car stereo, as mine became, doesn't have the stereo separation of quality headphones. I am so impressed that I'm going order another pair so I can leave them in the studio all the time. I am amazed to get this level of quality at this price level. In short: get these. You will not be disappointed.

Use them at work, they replaced a 5 year old pair of Sony's. I wanted an upgrade and found these and B&H had a great price.

I'm a nightclub DJ, these are perfect for my needs the only downside I would say is the cable needs a bit of a curl to it to be more loose rather than a straight one. Also, the detach from the headphone point is a nice innovation.

When i first got them i was very impressed with how comfortable they were, then i plugged them into my ipod and played my favorite song and it was absolutly magical. the bass and sound quality were better than i had ever herd from headphones. I especialy like the adapter because i can plug them directly into my mixer and hear all the bass from my work. The only thing i didnt like about these were that they were a little bulky around the neck when i walk around and listen to music maybe some slimlining in the future or more positionable cups.

These headphones are great. I bought these for listening to music on the plane and while traveling. They sound awesome. I have never had over the ear headphones before but these fit great and sound even better. I am glad that I bought them and for the price why not.

i had Dre. beats but they really (Don't Do It) so i replaced them with Red Wave DJ headphones. i know they are much less expensive than (Dre. beats) but they deliver HIGH SOUND QUALITY and bass respone Specially for DJ'ing and other events. the look is decent, quite comftable, 5/5. trust the AudioGuy.

Great style matches my numark ns7fx perfect..highs are cut back just enough so u won't fatigue your ears at high club volumes.Bass is good,will give beats by dre a run for there over priced money.....great price at b& h

great for dj to prevent ears from being worn out at high volume clubs because of the lack of highs.General mp3 players can have better quality for a cheaper price. Matches my ns7 fx though..lol..Ok set of headphones great style and build but lacks in sound quality for the price range.Should sale for around 30 to 50 bucks.
