Comments about Ilford Multigrade IV RC Deluxe MGD.25M Black & White Variable Contrast Paper (5 x 7", Satin, 25 Sheets):

By no means I am an expert on conventional B&W print but I've been, like no many others a fan of glossy paper. I personally like the shiny finish, however when I gave this satin finish a try, I was impressed to get a much better level of detail in the final print than I was getting with glossy or pearl. I don't like matte at all so I feel satin lies somewhere in between. It is closer to Pearl than it is to Glossy but with much better detail and contrast/sharpness than the other two. This may be a personal perception but I offer this as my review of the this paper. Easy and fast to dry. It is now becoming my first choice if I need to deliver a job.
